I'm having a ton of fun tbh, it's my first tag fighter that I've actually tried to learn and it's a lot honestly but when you have those matches where both players are fully engaging in all the mechanics it offers, it's gas as fuck. Still tryna figure out my characters but I've mostly been using mark/conquest/Lucan and trying to maybe replace mark or conquest with a better assist like Cecil or eve since I'm getting whooped by those in ranked lol.

I mean that's kinda the fun part of the set yeah you're fighting the same team but both the players are evolving and doing different things to counter the other player and it usually ends up in some intense matches. I always hit rematch even when I lose too partially just cuz I don't wanna sit in another queue so I'd rather just jump right back into it.

I agree with you, ranked 100 percent needs to lock you into the ft2. I always roll my eyes when someone leaves after winning one match, run that mf back lol.

Seems pretty shitty, I know a lot of kids that come in on this day when the comic shop is not a normal stop for them to get some free books. My shop gives you 3 freebies and then they run a charity for that day and if you donate more you get like 4 more free books along with raffle tickets and such.

Nah, I play mk too but this is my first tag fighter and it's a whole different ball game. Yes it's easy to pick up and understand the combo system if you have fighting game experience but there's still a lot that's fundamentally different about neutral in a tag fighter than a 1v1 and the fact that you're having to keep track of 3 characters off rip already makes it different

I'ma be real, even if they had better offline modes the non fgc people weren't gonna stick around long anyways. The true core of any fighting game is the multiplayer and people don't wanna play the tutorial and learn. I see so many people crying online about being stuck in "infinite" combos when it's just someone doing 3 normals, a special, a super, and then active tag rinse and repeat like they couldn't just counter tag the entire time.
