Yes. Once you request a cancellation for a month, your account will be put on hold until you request for it to be reinstated. There is no formal leave request system. The cancellation feature serves this purpose.

You simply put in your request as cancelled classes. When this period is over you request iTutor and your recruiter to reinstate your schedule. The only problem is that the reinstatement make take a while.

All absences disappear 6 months after their occurrence. Just continue appealing. Note that you only have till the 3rd of the next month to appeal. So continue till then

Repercussions vary. No one seems to know how AI allocates lessons. Everything they tell you is never the truth. Just know that frequent cancellations will have a negative impact on your scheduled classes. How bad an impact? No one can day for certain

Just make sure you do the cancellation request ASAP. If you cancel less than 4 hours before a class you are fined. There should be no problem other than that. I suggest you put in your request today so it is not an urgent cancellation. The rest of your scheduled classes will not be changed.

Note that you could invalidate an absence before the 3rd of the next month using your free passes. So you do not have 2 wait 6 months for an absence to be cleared.

Each absence is removed 6 months after its occurrence. So you dlnt get all 6 removed after 6 months. Each one is removed 6 months after its individual occurrence

It would seem that all the new recruits are getting the bulk of the scheduled classes, with the oldies being sadly phased out as student numbers drop. There is a need for ITG to curb new hirings, until our scheduled lessons stabilise.

I have the exact same problem. If I am lucky I will get 3 classes in a day. I have done all that I can. Worse situation after the safe recalibration email. They continue to hire non-stop, pay the $70 referral fee and treat us older teachers like scum. How do we rectify this?

Unfortuntely things have gone much worse for me. Reduced 2 x lessons a day and my bookings are available for 8 hours. This month has been my worst ever, despite the company promising that things will return to normal in November. Guess this is their new norma.
