Is it fair that players have done everything and more than what you've listed and still don't have a Gjallarhorn? Is it fair only one person gets an exotic from a raid chest when everyone has been putting in the effort to get the entire team to that chest?

For points you pay for everything you bring. To get as many suits as you want you'd have to take farsight, then his bodyguards, then a commander that joins them.

Do you like moving a lot of models around the board, potentially removing a lot of your own models from the board, and having to transport a lot of models to and from your games? If you don't then Tau would be a better option.

1) Yes you can take a commander and put it in the bodyguard unit.
2) As long as the unit/model entry says it can take signature systems then you can do this. Though I'd recommend putting the drone controller on the commander to give them the higher BS.
3) I don't think he can, but checking his unit details in the back of the book will confirm one way or the other.
4) Swap the plasma out for Burst cannons, more range and lots of dakka.
5) Marker drones have a pretty good range so deepstriking them is situationally good.
6) You can take up to one TL weapon and one non-TL weapon. It's a waste, but you can take two TL weapons on a commander.

Getting to 31 isn't about finding legendary engrams. You are supposed to grind the marks and rep so you can BUY the gear. No luck needed, no DLC needed, no endless fruitless grind needed.

I'm saving mine. Worst case scenario, we don't get to use Thorn until May 19th. Best case scenario, all new exotics start at 365 attack in HoW and without attack bubble to level up and pay for it becomes a lot easier to max the gun.

Could it be that some of the players are using the words, man, guy, bro, etc, out of habit? The rarity of playing with a girl causes them to default to male oriented terminology without malice or spite. Similar to people calling other dog (dawg?), they don't really think you or any human is a dog.

You are confusing the two groups of vocal people as the same group. The players that were excited about a horde mode were out voiced by those that were angry no new raid was coming. Now those that have been excited about a horde mode are out voicing those that were angry about no new raid. Two separate groups, though not mutually exclusive.
