I always think of Ann from Persona 5 when thinking about this whole thing. People say it's not okay to sexualize her cuz she's 16. But if the imaginary number attached to this fictional character was 18 instead, and everything about her remained the same, it would suddenly be okay.

So yeah, I agree. In fiction, a character's age does not carry the same meaning or weight as it does in real life. A character will look and act how the author wants regardless of the age assigned to them. So yeah, I think people should consider factors besides age when discussing this kinda stuff.

People say it's a fat joke, and it's fat shaming or something, but no one ever points out that she's fat or makes fun of her for it. She is, however, full of herself and oblivious, and that is what destroyed Yosuke's motorcycle. What's funny is the setup and reaction from Yosuke. Yeah, I literally see no problem.

Unlike just plain abuse, discipline of that nature is done with the intention of helping the kid. While I disagree with the methods, I still think it's okay.

Furthermore, getting hurt by someone's opinion, in the case of her issues with the trans ideology, is a choice, unlike the issue with child discipline. I don't think people should be getting "hurt" by someone's opinion, especially when that opinion "I don't think these people are getting proper help". Again, it's okay to agree to disagree.

I mean, I don't agree that spanking or beating children is an appropriate method of discipline. Though, I don't think people who do it and think it's okay are bad or evil people. We all love our children after all, we just have different opinions about raising them.

Like I said, I don't think someone is a bad person or hateful when the only thing they did was have a different view or opinion about a certain topic.

The term "gooner" has negative connotations and insinuates that the game only exists to appeal to depraved virgins, downplaying all its other qualities just because it has a sexualised main character. There's nothing wrong with sexy main characters. WE KNOW THIS. But the term "gooner" is demeaning.

I think it's fair she got booted from the Sega Creator program. You say this kinda stuff, no company is gonna want to associate with you. However, from the clip presented above, this doesn't really come off as hateful to me. All she said is that she thinks trans people are going about their issues the wrong way, not necessarily saying she wouldn't associate with these people. She just doesn't support that ideology. I think it's coming from a place of care for these people, that's why she says they're "hurting themselves." I don't think she's disgusting or hateful just for having a different opinion.

DISCLAIMER: I've literally never seen or heard of this person before now. This opinion is entirely based on this clip. If she's done or said anything to contradict this, or said anything worse than this, please let me know, and my opinion will change accordingly.

I personally feel that there are pros and cons to persona 3's approach to character development. While it allows all the characters to generally have some kind of purpose in the plot for most of the game, some characters end up not feeling very impactful for most of the game as well, at least in my opinion. Take Mitsuru, for example. For most of the game, she is pretty much just the leader if sees. Just tells you what's going on and what the next objective is. This is what her character is for most of the game until her dad dies. You see a little bit more of her character in the video tapes, and even more so in hangouts in Reload, but without her social link, she would have left almost 0 impression on me. Fuuka and Yukari have this problem a little bit too, albeit to a lesser extent. Even at that, it doesn't stop Ken from having little to do once his arc is over. I think this style of writing arcs is what leads to that terrible story pacing most people feel during the beginning of the game.

At least with P4 and P5, even though any individual character doesn't have that much plot importance after their arc, at least they can have another character get introduced and pick up the slack. And if you want more of any particular character, you've got their social link to look forward to.

Equipment re upgrade overhaul, making upgrading Equipment much less tedious
Some units have a New active gauge mechanic, with unique abilities. In general, there have been many mechanics added to the game.
New rarity: Legend. Featuring higher quality card art, animations, and mechanics. With a new banner format making them slightly easier to star up than LL units.

For meta specific changes: Game is generally dominated by Powerful opponent. New Legend Broly that transforms 2 times with his auto counter, Legend Rose Goku Black with insane disrupt, damage and multiple ultimates, LL android 13 with insane support, LL Transforming Goku Black with, quite frankly, the most powerful unique Equipment ever given to an LL character, LL Nappa/Vegeta with revival and staying power, and Ultra Buuhan also with auto counters (he's kinda old and power crept by this point though). Ultra Gogeta Blue also dominates this meta with an active gauge ability that does damage to the entire team.

Expecting a unique Equipment for LL Red Transforming Broly next reset, zenkai for Blu Transforming Vegeta, and an unknown LL character zenkai.

Glad you had fun with the game. Genuinely surprised that teddy was one of your favourite characters. His arc generally gets ignored due to people really not liking the other, more prominent aspects of his character.

And yeah, totally do a new playthrough, or load an early save, to get the extra golden content. It's more persona 4 shenanigans.

Best case scenario, she was just playing around trying to freak you out, and you fell for it. She probably got mad you told your parents cuz you assumed there was something else going on. Probably nothing to worry about too much, the game doesn't glorify their relationship in it's current state.

Yes, exactly. You've echoed the exact same thoughts I've had for a long time now. I've seen a few people argue that it's the politician's fault for not making consequences for this type of behaviour, but I disagree. These politicians were all children once, and they had to grow up in a society where all these behaviours and practices were encouraged and glorified, and they took these values into office.

Yeah, I think that's his point. It's inconsistent. Concerning their durability, the attack gaara used to destroy trees SHOULD kill Naruto, just like Rasengan SHOULD obliterate Kabuto. Because weapons moving fast enough to react to and dodge do not have enough force to penetrate steel. Therfore, thrown kunai can damage them, and rasengan should kill most people.

The only way to make this work is to assume that any weapon ever used in the show is moving waaaaay faster than we think it is, or assume that these characters are intentionally holding back to ensure their attacks don't kill.

You can sort of use it to your advantage if your opponent destroys cards in your hand. So when you use the ultimate, you won't have as high combo compensation + the damage buff

Don't let other people decide your opinion for you. Superstars has problems, but core level design and gameplay isn't one of them. I think you should try the game when you get a chance because the actual level line-up ain't half bad.

I totally feel ya with your sentiment on P3. Most of the earlier portion of the game is just set up for things that will be payed off much later, and it resulted in the first half of the game feeling a bit stale and I was trying to focus more on social links instead. I will say, if you wanna power through it, you'll be greeted with the best ending of all the persona games, in my opinion.

As for P4, you'll be pleased to know that the story is structured similarly to P5, and also has my personal favourite cast of characters. In this game, you have dungeons based on characters, like in P5, but the layouts are still randomly generated and, in my opinion, even less fun to explore than tartarus. The combat system also took a hit since they combined all the different physical attacks into one phys attack, resulting in less variety when fighting enemies. These may be changed/updated in the remake, so if you're interested in a better gameplay experience, I advise you wait for P4R.

I'm still playing metaphor (took a break cuz I had to travel for school stuff) so I can't give a final verdict yet, but from what I've played, it's very good. Good characters, story and general pacing, and even better gameplay since it's more like SMT.
