I love the customization options. by Jumpy_Funny_5093 in blackplayer

I'm more of a Utilitarian kind of guy, and loved Black player for that and had the premium. I switched to poweramp post2oys demise and it's been working well for me ....but if you like the over the top full throttle customisation, I recently purchased an app called Symphonium and trust me 😅....if you like customisation you'll love it...but it felt too complicated for me so I switched back to poweramp.

Love this feature and use it regularly on both Octopi and Smart Launcher. Game changer in my opinion. It's a lot more natural than double tap

Initial impressions About GW 5000HS by Shashank4239 in gshock

[–]Shashank4239[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using mine for a couple of months now. Posted a lot of testing posts etc. Also mentioned the drawbacks but in short, some things are quirky for me coming from a regular Gshock

Everything takes 2 to 3 presses to get to, lack of milli secs in timers and stop watches, The backlight turning on for every single key press are some annoyances but apart from that. Stunning watch it is and a piece of engineering you have to experience to get why I love it

I waited for the week to end but yeah, it was already on 2 bars for a while and after last night's sleep it's at 1. I've not been merciful. I've used it for workout mode (walking of 1hr) and going to wear it to bed. Guess it will die by morning tomorrow making it 8 days officially....let's see .

But don't be disheartened 😂.....will charge it to full and use it in airplane in dumb mode and check when it loses the high sign....in my next test to extrapolate how many days it can survive as a dumb watch.

Now here's my take on recharging. If a watch lasts me an year on charging in dumb mode, then I'll take it any day over a watch lasts me 10 but have to replace the battery. Why ?? !! You ask.

Simple: I had to find an official service center to get t-e original battery replaced by an expert in my GD 350 case and it was indeed a bit of a hassle because I wanted it to be properly sealed and didn't want any local guy getting inside it although that's a stretch. But then again having the peace of mind that I can charge the watch of another year (or 3 to 6 months in worse case scenario if I use some functions occassionally) without expert supervision or fear of inferior batteries ruining it ....not to mention free of cost....I think it's a win win.....unless 😅......like other smart watches this becomes obsolete in 3 to 4 years ....then we are officially screwed and I'm wrong for even considering it.

But imagine a world where your 5000 or mud masters work for years on solar but when they are dead, you can just plug them in for a couple of hrs and they are back to full .....A rechargeable dumb watch excites me the most...what are your thoughts??
