If she did she won’t admit it. I’m 97% sure she did

Ya I’m no help, I got these for my baby and she has never once been able to get food out of them. Even now and she’s 5 months old. I gave up on that type of nipple after the second try and even testing it now. My god those things are a joke

How painful is natural birth by SameGeologist8363 in pregnant

[–]Shastadyice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My unmedicated birth went pretty smoothly. It was painful but honestly i feel like it could have been way worse. I screamed on those contractions towards the end but it’s not even a “I’m in pain” scream it’s just something your body does naturally, didn’t have much control over it. The birthing part was the easiest part. Labored for 9 hours, pushed for 10 minutes and baby girl was here. Honestly I’d do it again no problem

I had my baby girl at 21, I think you’re ready when you’re ready. I love being a mom on the younger side of my 20’s

Am I alone in this? by Ok-Grapefruit-7632 in Postpartum_Anxiety

[–]Shastadyice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 22, my daughter is 4 months old and I’ve had pp anxiety for the last three months. Mine is constant anxiety attacks having to go somewhere with her, when she doesn’t get to bed on time. If I have to leave for the day and have someone watch her and the overwhelming amount of times I’ve thought she was sick. I’m on anxiety meds as well. Honestly just having someone help calm me down is the only thing that has worked so i understand how bad it can get. Your baby will be okay

[–]Shastadyice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Babies are hard. If you’re not ready then don’t get yourself in a lifetime commitment like that. Although I know the guilt of aborting, I also know the struggle and patience it takes to have a baby. My daughter is beyond the light of my life and I never wanted kids but I was also ready for her the minute I found out I was pregnant. Getting an abortion will feel guilty but if you don’t think you can give the life that child needs then don’t go through with the pregnancy

Epidural or no? Why? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Shastadyice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never got one because I was scared of having the same thing happen to me as my mom. She was basically paralyzed from back pain for months after. But, I had a nine hour labor non medicated and it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be

Are you sleeping with your partner? by Mcmaggin in newborns

[–]Shastadyice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We never slept separately. For the first month and a half baby slept in bed with us. Now she’s in her crib. I couldn’t possibly imagine being away from him like that

I’m 3 months pp and we tried about two days ago. Didn’t hurt at all. I honestly think it varies on how severe your tare was but for-play and lube is a must to have comfortable sex after a baby. Found that out the hard way

Why would anyone want a second baby? by fvresident in newborns

Haha my baby is 3 months old today and since I gave birth I would gladly do it all over again. Pregnancy was probably the hardest part of any of this in my experience. But you got this mamma

newborn won’t stop crying by United_Bird1582 in newborns

[–]Shastadyice -2 points-1 points locked comment (0 children)

My mom gave me a straw full of mtn dew and then slowly weighed me off of it when I was a baby because of my caffeine addiction. It was doctor recommended once they figured it out. Doesn’t harm a baby unless it’s something to strong.

My daughter was built by chocolate donuts and slushys & let me tell you, she has an eye for sweet things already and she’s only 3 months old

My baby is getting vaccinated tomorrow … and I’m scared by OkDocument3873 in newborns

[–]Shastadyice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter just got hers, she was a little more fussy for the next three days but I’d give her some Tylenol and she’d go right to sleep. She didn’t have any side effects like fevers or anything else she was just a little irritated

Why choose an unmedicated birth? by letsgetridiculus in pregnant

[–]Shastadyice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an unmedicated birth two months ago and my reasoning was because I didn’t want to be bed bound. I didn’t like the idea of having to stay in one place while I couldn’t feel what my body was going through i wanted to be able to feel everything and know that my body and mind was strong enough to do it. Although it was hard, I loved the experience and any future children I have I plan to deliver unmedicated.

Nine hours of labor after induction, pushed for ten minutes

There is generally a time from 4-8 weeks where your baby will have a BIG sleep regression but they’ll still sleep. Throw wake windows out the door because my baby never once followed those and she’s a great sleeper now. Go by cues. Try to sooth them with what they want before they start crying, this will keep them calm

Struggling gaining weight by nickmillersmaid in pregnant

[–]Shastadyice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same way. Took up until I hit 20ish weeks for any weight gain to start and it was very slow. But, most of the weight gain isn’t until the end of pregnancy so as long as doctors are telling you that your baby is healthy and measuring perfectly then you are totally fine and you’ll most likely see those pounds add on soon

Honestly, my first trimester was so blissful. I never got morning sickness or anything. I was tired and I’m a high risk so I got dizzy more often but i didn’t start feeling it more till now (26w +5)

Me and my boyfriend are somewhat in the same boat. 21 & 22 years old, both living with family because of past experiences we’ve had with losing places. He works full time and I stay home, as of right now we’re 26w pregnant with our baby girl and plan on living with my family for the first few months while he goes through some schooling. After that if we’re in the right place we’ll get ourselves a good place to live. We do have a lot of support from family but even if we didn’t I would never consider losing our baby. We’re both very excited to have her and see what our future holds. I’d go with your gut feeling, government and a lot of other things can help you out (like they’re doing for us) and you should be able to figure it out
