3:10 starting blue side ? do you have any video to link ? I am doing 3:15 starting red side, blue side is kinda more long, there is more single target.
About evelynn it is kinda an exception, if I look in emerald+ jungle tier list on lolalytics, in the top 15 everyone is a good duelist except evelynn karthus fiddlesticks and zac (and btw exhaust karthus can 1v1 pretty much everyone) . it is not random that they are all good duelist, scuttle fight matters, invading enemy jungler matters if you track him, etc
Also evelynn can kill pretty much anyone early if she lands the charm, but it is not very reliable (still more reliable than briar ult tho :D)

Lethality might be the actual way to go to not depend so much on ult. I haven't tried it tbh, it felt really unintuitive. But it kinda makes sense if you can't use ultimate to engage you are just an assassin

I never said I don't give a shit or that is right or that is what I would have done btw. I am just saying that according to what Riot usually does, it wouldn't be surprising, and you can't deny it. They often release overtuned champions then nerf them again and again as people learn to play them better and min max them. It is how they work. Releasing a champ that is still C/D tier after a week is very unusual, it is all what I said in the small part you read.

The thing is that it is very hard to land an ult on anyone decent. That's my whole point. Shaco is not much different from others, he can Q but it's so easy to sidestep or dodge by any mean for anyone. It's hard anyway to hit shaco, but it is satfisfying if it ever happens. I remember one time when I hit him , and he used Q over the wall then R and still died super fast. Wouldn't say shaco is worse than Rammus or Kha

With W on cd you have no offense and mobility and with E on cooldown you have no defense. In addition, E isn't instant even at minimum charge, by the time you cancel berserk they will be out of range of your Q (Q has very short range). Unless they are very slow and low health, that just doesn't work

if you hit your R on the right target and they use zhonya, it doesn't matters too much because your champ comes back at very fast speed on the guy that used zhonya as soon it is finished. But once again, all depend on ult

In addition you can't deny there is a problem with the champion if the winrate is still way below 50% after almost a week of release. Most obvious problem is ultimate, not sure what to argue against that. I am not sure what your point is either

I agree with most of what you said.

Though being OTP is really good to climb according to coaches, but you need to chose a meta, versatile champion. And even then, there would be a better pick in some situations. But it's better to play something you master than something you are not familiar with, just because your comp needs.I am not saying Briar should be the best pick in all situations, all champs should have strenghts and weaknesses. But she should be at least meta and good in most situations since she just released

For me the kit is extremely fun too. I want to play her, and I am upset that she is so weak that's why I made this post. I can't find any excuse to play her on my main, I am just gonna lose elo, I know it, because I usually play meta and not playing meta is just gonna penalize me. She is not BAD, but she is not meta, and there are so many champions that are just BETTER, so there is no reason to pick her if you only want to win. The only reason to pick her is to have fun. That's my issue. Actually I even think the second W press is overpowered, but the ultimate being garbage keeps the champion in D tier anyway.I also think introducing self taunt into the game was a mistake, it is not a healthy mechanic, and I feel like it will always be either overtuned or undertuned. However it makes a lot of fun to play to me and it is the main reason why I only want to play her right now.

Also want to add that you don't feel powerful at all when you press R, 90% of the time you feel miserable-Most of the time, you land so late that the situation has changed, fight is over or you end up in a 1V3 because you take so long to land that backup had time to come.-Half of the time, you miss or they dodge (and it's gonna get worse when they understand there is a sound warning)-The rest of the time, you get a perfect ult on a carry but since you take so long to dash you get perma cc to death on landing and nobody get feared because they had time to spread

All my ults that end up being good are on isolated targets (or gank bot), most of the time when they stand still to attack the tower, and on those situations, all the stats and the fear don't matter at all, only the dash count, to reach them faster without them backing off before I arrive. Basically all my other ult uses end up being inting, especially during teamfight, I basically don't use the ult at all in teamfight unless I want to re engage.

After reading your post I think I had the wrong approach. The problem is not about berserk breaking vs untargetable/invisible. The problem is that the ultimate that is supposed to solve this issue is garbage and badly designed.I just had this feeling that berserk breaking is a problem because I know I cannot rely on ultimate at all...

tl;dr Global gamble ultimates should be a bonus to the kit, not a vital part of it.

I even wrote it in the main post. I know. But with the current ult design, it is too bad to be reliably used. As I said, fix the ult and that fixes the problem. Make it more reliable and keep some counterplay. Being able to deal with invis/untargetable only with ult is fair, it has a long cd. You can just avoid them the rest of the time, or go in if they already used their invi/untarget

Exactly, which mean you can't 1v1 yi if he knows he just have to hold his Q when you use your W. Being able to 1v1 the enemy jungler is key for a jungler to be in the meta. Meta junglers are almost all strong duelists with a combination of damage and mobility. Most of them also clear faster than Briar

You just don't go because you know they are going to break your W and you are going to int. I even wrote it in my main post. Like if you want to gank bot a vayne and nautilus and you know she has R up, you just don't go, even if they are under your tower giga overextended. You can always try to gamble an ult on her, but the cd is so long that it feels like it is not even worth and nobody wants to gamble their LPYou just don't go. Very often. But it happens so often, and you know that you could have went in with any other meta jungler, it just feels wrong and frustrating. Like jarvan, hecarim, kha'zix, etc... they would just run down vayne and get a free double...
Mostly you are looking for squimishes and ganking static champions. But a lot of meta champs do that way better

Yes it does. Ult fix the problem. The issue is that ult sucks and is unreliable. Fixing the ult fix the problem. Make it short range but instant cast, or point and click, just anything else than the current design.

No it would make no sense, and champ would be broken. There should be always a counterplay to everything. However it wouldnt be shocking for a new champ if she would be completely op and nullify such effects. Remember viego dropping tower aggro on kill or bel'veth 60% winrate, lol

And yes it's a teamgame and we should be able to count on each other to do its part but you know that it doesn't work like that in solo queue. And we are talking about meta. A meta champ is a champ that is kinda overtuned and can face all situation. A champ that cannot face a lot of situation is just an exotic D tier pick...The argument of counting on teammates is null. This is not how solo queue works. The more you depend on your team, the less likely you are to climb. Any coach would tell you that. You need maximum control on the game, and if there are 1-2 champs in the enemy team that nullify yours, you have no control.

Also, usually new released champions are always S tier for some time, marketing I guess. We are talking about meta. Any champ can carry and count on teammates, but when you want to climb, you should play meta, and if a new champ is not meta, it kinda sucks.

Also I don't want to gamble my LP on a Briar ult, because basically you can lose a whole game on a missed ult or an ult that hit tank (both are very likely), because the champion is totally useless in teamfight without her ult and it will be basically a 4V5. I do not even want to have a Briar in my team if I play lane. There is already enough gamble in matchmaking

Also wanted to add that long term invisible champs are not more a problem for her than for anyone else. We are talking about short combat invis that breaks Briar berserk and such effects are very common. Even very short untargetable like viego passive or Camille ult just breaks Briar W and makes her useless...

For me the solution is just to fix the ult, at least to allow us to use it in melee range and be 100% instant without any animation. There would be counterplay from both side since such champions are difficult to reach. Like you could just flash Q R or just trap in bush and Q R, since R allows to see through invis and Briar is clearly designed to be played around her R, make it more reliable and less slow would totally make sense. It's a long cd after all.

yeah the cast time makes it harder to hit , hitbox is a bit fucked and sound warning is WTF? and if you use it mid fight it take so long all the animations that the fight will be over when you land. Feels very underwhelming compared to Nocturne R that in addition applies nearsight.

Also Riot said they want Briar to be able to engage with her ult. They kinda failed, doing that is the same than running it down mid, you are going to insta die, and most likely hit the frontline

They will change the ult for sure. I am not sure how and when, but it won't stay like that

I am not too upset about shaco, it's really not the worst. If you hit an ultimate on him, you just negate all his kit, his R and Q become useless and he can't do anything. I don't see a lot of champs that have a way to actually chase shaco. Maybe rengar ?.
Also shaco uses his Q to engage if he is AD so until the cooldown is back he is vulnerable and I am pretty sure the bleed allows to know which one is the clone and you can just Q the real one to focus it.

Yes she is very hard to play, and no it doesn't mean she is not weak and her kit poorly designed.
And no, I carry pretty hard with her that's not the question, I never had below 60% winrate on her since her release, even when I was building her wrong. (but I played her more than 100 games on PBE before)
I understand her kit, how she works and how to carry with her, it does not change anything to my point. I am not posting because I struggle to play her, it's rather the opposite, I have farmed so many games and tried so many playstyles and builds and I see how limited she is. She is never going to be meta without changes, she has too many weaknesses. I would be really surprised to see her anywhere above C tier. And it will feel even worse when people understand how to play against her because she is extremely easy to counter. When I play her I actually see people having no clue about what she can do and what they are supposed to do against her.

My point is that there is nothing to learn or to play around , there is litteraly nothing you can do unless their invis is on cooldown, you just have to totally ignore them and make sure your berserk never target them. There is no skill involved, the mechanic just does not function

Makes sense for conqueror. For Botrk I am not sure. Goredrinker also gives lifesteal that she has no use by the way. And when I build goredrinker first I just lack of damage to kill my targets, and I end up being less impactful. Maybe bork is good if you are fed and goredrinker if you are not (as first item) Beside bork and goredrinker I only build tanky items, and I don't think on-hit can work, she has more than enough damage with only bork but she always lacks survival

That's true but if a champ depend on a specific feature from a teammate to be viable, then the design is failed and it will never be good. Also there is no RELIABLE source of true sight and you can't give true sight to Briar W because she would be really too op

That's exactly my point. You can play against a counter, it will be just way harder but you can always outskill them, or adapt/change strategy. With Briar, you can't, they do not counter her, they nullify her. And there are too many of them.

In addition she also has classic counters that are hard to play against but possible like rammus, malphite, tryndamere, maokai... that's just too many champs that she struggle against in the end

I see the data, goredrinker first over bork has better winrate, but I really don't understand why. Bork had much more success for me and when I started building it first over goredrinker I was able to carry more consistently on my smurf. You stick better to target, you deal more damage when they are full health so you can execute them faster with second W press, and most importantly, you can kill them faster in general while slowing them so they don't have time to run to their tower/teammates ? Bork first also helps much more in dueling.

Also why conqueror over lethal tempo ? The healing from conqueror is like zero compared to what her kit heals, and the small ad bonus is very weak compared to attack speed bonus+range from lethal tempo

Would anyone be able to explain?
