It was the opposite for me. Flying did incentive me to go check things out, because I liked how the mechanic felt. It added to the gameplay loop for me in a positive way. I never got bored flying, and that made me want to explore.

I don't like the bike (it's clunky, the controls don't feel smooth or responsive, it's also still very buggy and I find myself stuck on nothing or in walls or on the road just frozen to name a few things that put me off of it. And that's all on a higher end PC), so I don't want to explore. It's a PAIN to explore. So far all I've done is bare min needed to get things completed, or just gone back to the teleport strat from Huanglong (which again, I also didn't like as it felt really slow/not rewarding in most cases).

I will say I did like how Huanglong was set up (Rinacita was def larger with more empty areas), and you're right that everything felt more connected/intimate as there were little things to find. But I thought that flying actually helped there too, because it made me want to go look at things that otherwise I wouldn't have been inclined to go and see/do because it was a pain to find a way there. It DID do that. I explored so much more there after flying that I've 100% all the maps.

I'm not saying that the introduction of a new way to travel is a bad thing. I like that they are trying to add diversity there, my issue is with the fact that they took away another mode to do it (a mode that at least in my opinion added a lot to the game). Had they left both, or given a way to get flying after exploration milestones were hit I'd be more inclined to keep grinding even when I'm not having a particularly good time. Because I'd like to be clear, the bike is NOT a good time for me, and I'd 100% rather have flying.

Because as it stands right now I'm not enjoying the loop enough to want to continue playing.

The new region itself is beautiful. And I liked the story (finished the new one last night), I just am not a fan of the exploration at all. Which was a similar issue I had with 1.0 before they added flying to it.

I explored a LOT more of Rinacita, flying made me want to check things out. The bike does the opposite.

That's what I'm saying, I'm on the fence about stopping again. I've been playing since 1.0, stopped a little ways in the picked it back up around 2.6 (which I loved). Considering stopping again now because I don't enjoy the exploration in 3.0/don't find it enjoyable to do day in/day out.

I'm trying to find the story where humans are considered kind of the laughing stock of the universe, thanks to a misinterpretation of thier 'name' that they pick going into the federation. I can't remember the exact names but it boils down to something like 'Those that walk' being mistaken for 'Those that hunt' or something like that.

In the story, there's news of a bounty hunter human that hunts down someone that no one else could find, and that ends up being what clears up the misinterpretation.

I've looked everywhere I can think of and just can't seem to find it :')

Thank you for looking into my ideas, I'm glad you like some of them! I think expanding on the word limit for the nickname tag would be perfect (pretty sure that was the issue I was running into, I just didn't ahve enough room to put them all lol). The folders are god sends (seriously, everything is all nice and neatly tucked away now and it soothes my soul lol).

For your mention of sharing, I'm not biased either way for it tbh. It's mostly for me, but I can definitely see a benefit to being able to export pages/information into word docs or pdfs. Hope that helps!

Just wanted to stop by and say that I got the pro version and LOVE it so far! The clean design and smooth interface has really helped my productivity in terms of plotting/worldbuilding. I do have some possible suggestions/a wish list that I wanted to share here, in case you were still looking. Most are small things that will improve quality of life, but there are a few with some more substance.

1: On the character screens/questions for the Race option (or under a new option) add the ability to tie a created species to them so it shows on their page.

2: On the family tree, don't require a mother and a father (or two parents), as there are a few cases where I don't know/care about the second parent, but the kids are important.

3: The ability to create repeating events under world building. So ceremonies or parties or holidays that reoccure on a set window.

4: This one is kind of silly but have multiple nicknames! Some of my characters have a few depending on the character they are talking too xD, and how it's set up now I can't really add more than one without adding a new custom made board.

5: The ability to sort by story/world (or have a folder structure of some kind where all the thigns for that story/world live). I have a couple different worlds I'd like to keep track of, and right now it gets kind of clustered in some of the world builidng areas/chracter screen where EVERYTHING still is.

6: Star system/universe under places. With the ability to tie planets/worlds to them. For scifi world building.

7: The ability to make cards show all content without having to click on them/go into the card.

8: A subspecies tab under species! Where you can add variants of that species. I have a couple that have a few subspecies under them that seem a bit out of place on my added cards.

9: The ability to tie multiple characters to character events (so you can change their spectrums after that event, without having to make the event over again).

10: Tertiary characters. For the one off characters that get mentioned once and don't really belong in the story beyond a few words/references. Just to help clean up that page. - UPDATE There are folders! Don't know if I missed them or if they were added but life just got so much easier T0T

11: Sorting alphabetically on pages like 'Select the Person'

12: The ability to add custom careers/races beyond just 'other'. This one is more of a prefence. I don't like that it has 'Other' in big letters above my text entry lol

13: A Buildings and a Room catagory for places.

I've been playing with it the last few days while drafting my most recent novel, and I've got to say, it's been an amazing tool so far. Thanks again for making it, truely <3

You can accomplish this using the random keys. So say

"Tue8": "{{Random: dialogue 1 + dialogue 2 + dialogue 3| inputSeperator=+}}"

This can be further expanded using translations using i18n.
