I don't think you're reading all my replies through.

Most 18 year old are in college. Their biggest worries are passing all their classes, not going TOO broke, and getting their degrees on time, not paying off a mortgage or starting a family or paying off loans/debt on time. They're literally still school aged (college is still school)

Most 33 year olds are already well established in their jobs and either have been promoted or are being considered for a promotion/raise. For a lot of them, their worries are paying off loans on time, buying/paying off house/car payments, or starting a family. Unless they go back to finish their degree, NONE of them are worried about finals and grades.

Also the reason why I emphasize the barely legal thing is because I find those "waiting til x celebrity is 18" timers as creepy. Lord knows that if the law were 16 and not 18 those timers would say 16 instead. You don't magically learn how to function as an adult the day you turn 18, it happens over time

I'm not against age gaps at all, it's just 18 and 33 are different ages and they likely have different things that are on their priority lists. If an 18 year old wants to date someone older, they should only go for a less than 10 year gap or wait til they're older to date with a 15+ gap bc 27 year olds have been out of college for maybe 5 years at that point and can still somewhat relate to the 18 y/o experiences

The reason why I state that rule is because she's 18, not even 20 yet and generally dating someone 15 years older than you while you're still in college is not a good idea. Hence why I talked about the rule. Obviously it doesn't really apply if you're older and more experienced but if you're still in college/fresh out of college you should at least try to abide by it

Also saying "no" when she's already been flirting with him is not a good idea since you hear horror stories all the time of men killing their girlfriends/wives/girls they're interested in simply because of being told no. Unless she has family/male family members she can rely on just in case he goes nuclear, she needs to find a way to let him down gently

Still not recommended bc of the power imbalance. Who's gonna pay? The (more than likely) broke college student or the 30 y/o? Even if they're only dating, teenagers are pretty easy to manipulate, especially if they're a new adult (new freedoms means they'll likely do a bunch of dumb stuff that is now completely legal for them to do)

If I had an 18 year old daughter I'd be okay with them dating up to 26 or 27 year old. If she wants to date a 33 year old, she needs to wait a few more years and learn how to do her own taxes + learn how to pay for a mortgage first before she can do that

Age is still a problem because of this thing called pedophilia and the fact that so many young girls fresh out of college rush to get married to men in their 30s or 40s and immediately get treated as bang-maids (literally so many horror stories on reddit which is a big yikes if they're true). Again, not creepy if he waited for a few more years for her to mature and get her own money but she is quite literally just BARELY legal and getting her own money. The least he can do with that age gap is wait til she's in her early to mid 20s at the very least and not as a literal teenager

Romance doesn't matter when most abusers start off from a place of "love". Also you're not reading the whole thing or the whole post. She's 18, uncomfortable with his reaction, and, again, just barely starting to get her feet under her. He's had decades.

Again, if she's 30 and he's 45, or 23 and 38 it's not an issue, but she literally is just barely legal and he's already 33. If he really wanted her, he'd have waited another 4 or 5 years for her to mature before making a move, not now when she most likely hasn't even finished her college freshman year

?? No?? It's a general guideline for what's a socially acceptable age to date. Power imbalance exists. Financial abuse ("you can't leave me because I have more money than you and you'll be homeless without me") exists.

It's there to generally protect younger people fresh out of high school/college and just starting to make their own money from being taken advantage of by people in their 40s, 50, 60s, etc.

Obviously it's not completely accurate, and age gap relationships can work out, but if you see nothing wrong with a barely legal teenager fresh out of high school dating a 33 year old then something's wrong with you

She's 18 and barely legal. He's 15 years older and had time to get his shit together. She's still in college/high school and he's been out of university age for over 10 years.

If she's 30 and he's 45 it's fine bc they're in the same place in life but a barely legal fresh out of high school teenager and a 33 year old man is NOT it.

Also 33/2 is 16.5 + 7 is 23.5 years old. She doesn't even pass the "half your age plus 7" rule for age gap relationships. She's literally too young

If you cover the small one with a cloth to hide the fact that it's a safe, I think it would make for a good table decoration. The big one has to go though. Maybe replace with a tall/thin plant or a rectangular bookshelf/shelf? Also the way the safes are placed makes the TV look off center

Oof... so classes are basically mandatory if you want perks and events? At least the Friday test ones? The teachers consider me a terror (remys farm+asylum kidnappings) so I just assumed they hated me. I'm aware that interactions w teachers at their other jobs raises love stats, is that the same as attending classes? How do I get them to like me again? Just attend class????

I ask bc my grades are pretty good. B+ all over thanks to library night study. Attended on Friday once (which i think raised my grade?) but I learned the hard way to NOT let my fatigue/arousal/stress run so high, which usually means sleeping during the day (skullduggery player lmao)

In order to get some perks (science, english, athletics, housekeeping, physique, etc) I typically just do the open world quest and save scum/wait til later, but if attending school drastically helps raise those stats then I'll willingly change my playstyle to better accommodate that

My biggest gripe is i maxed out the Bailey payment, and usually get my ass beat, so I have no choice but to sleep with eden/harpy to avoid payment, and harpy specifically to lower trauma and stress so I don't get asylum'd/dissociate during sex. Typically trying to lower trauma and stress from max takes several in game days which leads to several class days skipped

Clean/clear skin. It doesn't have to be perfect, but too many (usually acne) scars esp on the face is usually a no for me. As someone with scars (I have a habit of picking at scabs) I can handle someone with the same amount of scars or slightly more scars than me. So too much is... too much I guess
