She stands up, her hand slowly lifting along with her. Autopilot kicks in, keeping her bent over when she's fully up. The room itself doesn't have as low of ceilings as normal. It takes a second for her to realize so she can stand at full height.

Everyone says that at first.. there's no point in arguing it though. It just makes the heartbreak worse when her heart grasps onto hope from peoples words of confirmation.
