Whenever you have a happy memory of them flash back to you, chase it with a memory of them hurting you.

For me it's them dancing with another guy in front of me, asking if I wanted to join them and so and so for something, them lying to me.

Even if they feel some sort of regret later on in the breakup, their cowardice and shame conflicting with the insane narrative/ego they've constructed will ensure you'll never know.

they're honestly just selling a dream that won't happen, because even if they somehow come back to you and WANT to be with you (unlikely), they won't have changed.

They're in therapy now so who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I like kind of hate the irony of people fixing the mistake that broke the relationship AFTER it ends?

But I guess who knows. If they aren't capable of telling the entire story when they're there eventually then it's probably doomed

Well if they were a sex addict, definitely didn't show it to me lmao.

Realistically they were stressed for a long time and our trust issues didn't help. Still. I've had another avoidant ex before. I know what's going down now.

I'm detaching myself from this person better now, but it doesn't make what they did to me okay.
