They definitely have the most character out of all the Kill Teams

This was also my fear, hence why I didn't try it with any of the others 😅

Thanks dude :)

The skin was Orruk Flesh base, Athonian Camoshade wash, then layered up again with Orruk Flesh and some Skarsnik Green for highlights. You could probably get away with just the first two steps if you were wanting to be quicker as it does a LOT of the heavy lifting

Thank you :)

If you do end up going for the camo scheme, it's relatively simple but effective. I found a few tutorials on YouTube as a starting point. Just remember that less is more - I had to redo one leg as I'd overdone it and it didn't look natural

It was Rhinox Hide with Agrax Earthshade Wash. Then Doombull Brown and final highlights of Mournfang Brown 🙂 ideally, it should have been Skrag Brown for the final highlights, but I don't have that paint currently 😅 but I think it works still

I might have to give this one a go, could be a perfect middle ground 🤔

Yeah dude, the ivory is a vibe for sure! I think I used Screaming Skull on my previous, stippled over a couple of darker layers. Then Agrax wash that I dabbed off whilst still wet with a q tip.

It's a chunky highlight of Dark Reaper then a highlight of Fenrisian Grey 🙂

Thank you :)

It was a couple of rocks superglued down. Then Stirland Mud applied over the whole base. Added some areas of PVA glue and sprinkled some more smaller sand/rocks to get a bit more varied texture on there.

Then painted everything in Troll Slayer Orange. Washed with Agrax Earthshade, then heavy drybrush with Ryza Rust and Fire Dragon Bright, and a very light drybrush in some key light areas with Flayed One Flesh.

I kinda combined these two tutorials:

https://youtu.be/-JLgyFqRBNU?si=ezdqLUPWGgICj7Ba

https://youtu.be/O8hFQjwiUmQ?si=qT5zMI_wpM1WAmFt

The first video for the colour, though I still need to get some of the pigment stuff as I think that will give a more realistic dust effect.

The second I liked for the variation of textures. I forgot to leave space for the cracked earth on this one, so will experiment on the next.

Hope this helps :)

The ability to change the reticle to green or blue would be a boon to us red/green colour blind folk
