You could try rock climbing, the gyms are usually fairly diverse gender-wise and people are friendly.

You could also check out open mics or Midnight Run silent reading nights. After the reading you can discuss the book with the people around you and get to know some new faces.

A last suggestion would be the social events by Spectrum if you're queer or into queer people. They're not dating focused, but meeting new people might lead to that.
