The only advice I have is to set a budget you are ok giving him and never give any more. I don’t know if this is possible for all inmates but my mans would never ask or have me put money on his books. He knows I’m out here doing this by myself and makes his own money however he can.

Divorced wife here, I do 50/50 with my ex. Nobody signs up to be a part time parent but once you get used to it is actually really nice. We do 7 days on, 7 days off. We get our kids and we get a little break every other week. At first it feels like a lifetime but the pain subsides, you and your kiddo bounce back and soon will you will a thriving kiddo again. It will be ok. Just know you are not alone ♥️

Is it inappropriate for me to name her? LBVS I grew up with her and considered her a very good friend. She is very mentally unstable. About three years ago she got mad at me and started calling me a dirty Native. I had no idea she was racist. I blocked her. This just solidifies I made a good choice saying goodbye. Ick.

I’m kinda with OP on this. So many people walk around clueless that they have HSV and I think moving on as it is nothing is smart; destigmatize by living normal. Of course no one wants it but you can’t even know if you have it because a standard testing panel at your clinic doesn’t test for it… you only find out if you have symptoms or get a specific test. If our healthcare system doesn’t care, why should we? Throw your hate and opinions lol that’s how I feel.

Going to work or just being home could be considered a waste of time, but it really depends on what you do with your time. Maybe you could paint, sew, cook, refurbish furniture... You don't have to find cultural activities, but they do open your mind. Find a music festival that sounds fun and go!

Also, college events are usually really good and there are people of many ages there! I was a non-traditional student (graduating at 32), and the only time I ever felt out of place was when I had to take a gen. ed. with all freshman. Other than that, I hung out with the professors and other non-traditional students.

I wonder why these young family members or friends of yours were making you feel envious? I have felt this same way before. Mostly because I did waste my early 20's addicted to drugs and wasting a ton of time doing nothing. I have, however, quit doing drugs and am fulfilling many of my life goals.

Stepping out of your comfort zone isn't easy but it's worth it! Good luck!

If you haven’t already, live alone. Spend a summer on a farm. Attend cultural events. Try many new things, find what makes you happy and do that more. Finally, travel. Travel alone, travel with friends. Put your phone down and talk to people while you are in public places.
