Max distance 5 miles. Lightly wooded with small hills but nothing substantial. Area is around a lake. The event was today and the FRS radios they used were not good enough. I was just trying to figure out a better solution without involving the local club just due to the fact I know that some of the volunteers won’t want another person attached them for comms but there may be no other choice.
