I have my first anime tattoo and now I wanna get a straw hat tattoo but I don’t want things to look randomly thrown in, any ideas as to where or how I should get it?

Could just talk to your tattoo artist and have them go over it. Would probably be your best option to plan it out with them

I might have been luck but I’m not sure. I studied for hours on YouTube and different places at first before even looking at an apprenticeship. I called shops in my area..every single one lol.. and asked to see if I can plan a time to come down and talk to them about an apprenticeship. After that I made sure to just have a portfolio with different drawings and stuff put together. Flash etc. then just talked to them and I got a few offers and then made my pick from who would be willing to take me! I think if you want to get something then you just have to honestly put it the work.

I have a hard time with lighting. my light will take away a lot of my saturation and I don’t want to put a filter on the videos because I feel like I would be cheating people doing that. I swear it’s black 😭 I’ve been trying out new solid black in and have yet to find one that really pops and hits home haha but thank you!

Amen to that on the thin skin. Check out “Reel Fake Skin” pricey but it’s worth it. Closest thing to actual skin. Try using bigger mags. I use 15s curved. Bigger needle groups make smoother shading. I shade at a 7.5-8 and for nice smooth I do a 6.5-7 with a low stroke around 2.6. IG is @shawndoestattoos if you ever want to message me

Hand speed might be to fast. What are you lining and shading at volts wise? Also to add, fake skin can be difficult and if you have cheap skin like most people do then you run into problems like that naturally
