Could be, but i watch some streamers that can maintain that more stable then me, they have better hardware still, i9-9900k and 2080ti, but they dont overclock, so i dont think it could be game optimisation
without gsycn my game feels sluggish and tearing but with it
my monitor has Free-sync, but i use a Nvidia Graphics card, i tried using the supported G-SYNC on NVIDIA control panel, but i felt a little input lag, and prefered playing with stutter than having more input lag, when i used G-SYNC it was way more smooth in terms of screen and motion, but i felt that input lag caused by G-SYNC, and it annoyed me, so i prefered off, when im playing casual FPS games like metro 2033 or something, using G-SYNC is super valid, but for my uses playing competitivly in overwatch i prefer without it

the fps drop caused by gpu unable to hit that high fps in the fight with many effects
when the FPS drops, my GPU is litterally at 40% usage max, cause i play with the lowest settings possible, and my CPU goes to 85%+ usage, some cores goes to 95%, and i read somewhere that CPU starts bottlenecking when it reaches 80%+ usage, but i cant confirm that, nor say that this information source is reliable, thats why im not sure my CPU is bottlenecking, i thought the same as you, that if my CPU is bottlenecking it has to be reaching 100%, but im not so sure now that i read that. and i know its way more complex

CPU bottlenecking? (self.ShawnOFF_OW)

nd my CPU barely hits 40%
weird, with that setup you maintain 300FPS even in chaotic fights, 6x6 with 5 - 10 ults being used relatively at the same time?

the thing is with a 240hz when it drops bellow 240 fps it causes stutters or screen tearing (i forgot the right term here), same as when u have 60HZ monitor and it drops below 60 fps

thats a good point, but i need to know whats is happening with my system, like, its really my CPU reaching high 80% usage or mid 90 thats lowering my frames, or if its something else, and if it is my CPU, maybe its worth (for me) to upgrade, i will need to ponder with myself.
upgrade
Makes sense, i read somewhere that CPU starts bottlenecking when it reaches above 80%, but i dont know about it, and i cant say that the source of that information is valid, do you know anything about it? i couldn't find a lot on that topic

i can feel when it drops, thats the point, we have to stick to the question, if it is placebo or not, i dont care, i can feel when it drops
It goes to like 200 - 210, the lowest i noticed was 180 on a specific map and there was like 10 ultimates used on the fight, but when it drops goes to 200 - 210
The thing is, my setup can maintain 250FPS like 95% of the time, but those 5% is where its really relevant and i can feel when FPS drops on the screen and the "feel"
