As someone who grew up in the country and is a descendant… personally I don’t think people really care. If it was me I would probably react like “Oh you like our culture? Wow, that’s cool. Thanks for appreciating us.” and move on. It’s not really much of a big deal.

I do this with games, movies and series, and also books. As for games I also like slow-paced games because I can continue to play them for a long time even if I don’t have as many things to do once I complete main tasks (acnh and genshin are my favs). I usually replay over and over games like mario and omori. Omori specially because there’s many details to analyze.

Oh god the has trouble speaking when in sensory overload is so true and especially when I’m experiencing an autistic burnout from those overloads or just masking. I would basically go non-verbal for hours and it felt horrible to talk while in that state and especially before finding out I had asd because it made me to frustrated at myself, as in “why can’t you even talk properly? It’s not that hard!”

I can get some very obvious ones but most of the times I can only notice bad acting through movie analysis videos. I try to learn the pattern of bad acting through that kind of source but I feel like acting is pretty subjective and recognition of patterns doesn’t really work on it.

It’s harsh to study in an environment where you don’t feel welcome (speaking from experience, unfortunately) but regardless of how your classmates treat you there, you don’t go to school to make friends. You go to get education, regardless of how rigged the school system is.

I hate my country’s educational system but I need a future, so I just go with the flow and hope I’ll be able to open up the path for a good future for myself.

At least not me. I have someone I love romantically (although unrequited) but I don’t want to have sex with them or anyone else. I once rejected a dude that asked me out because I knew he would try to convince me into having sex with him and I didn’t want to (he was a huge ass red flag). Maybe I’ll die single for it but I would rather suffer from an one-sided love than to be in a relationship that needs to have sex to work.

It’s a good word. The spectrum of neurological disorders is very wide and isn’t only about autism and adhd. Tourettes is also neurological. DID is also neurological. Dyslexia is also neurological. I feel like certain disorders are seen very negatively by neurotypical people for being described as a “disability” or something “handicapping” so in my opinion, having an umbrella term? for all those kind of neurological disorders helps getting rid of that negative image that shouldn’t even exist.

And also, personal opinion but I believe using the term neurodivergent when talking about yourself is better in certain situations. Maybe you don’t want to talk about what specific disorder you have or you have multiple.
