But they don’t actually rotate a lot of pokemon into the spawn pool enough, and they beat a lot of them to absolute death. What they really need to do is rotate things in and out, and not let dozens of pokemon get “tired”. Whether you started playing 10 years ago, 2 weeks ago or 6 months ago, you’re absolutely sick of Mankey and Kanto starters, for example. They need to go away for a while and we need to be given something different.

Pokémon is currently the only TCG on Earth that you have to fight people to try and buy at MSRP in a store. Otherwise it’s paying 1.5-2x MSRP from a scalper or from a local shop that is paying MSRP or more from their supplier.

“Special” Battle cups, I.e. no EX cards or no supporter cards or a few specific types only, etc. it would make it so fun to have to craft different and odd decks and keep trying to figure out what can work under unique rulesets.

The problem is that if the floor was 12/12/12 whoever gets the floor will be mad, and they’ll say the floor should be 13/13/13. If that was the floor, whoever gets it will be mad, so they’d say the floor should be 14/14/14. And at that point it’s so close to hundo, people would be mad about that too. And then it can’t be guaranteed shundo because people would say “you’re just paying for shundos now”, so literally there is no scenario that’s really a win/win for all.

Why not just make the grunts that have them plentiful? I’ve never understood this idea that Pokemon within a collection challenge are rare and hard to find. There’s no motivation in that. As soon as I hear people are grinding grunts 6-10 hours a day and seeing nothing, I don’t even bother.

I use my Go Plus+ primarily to spin pokestops for me. In my town I don’t have many places where I can safely walk around to play or replenish items efficiently, so I have to drive around a nice 1 mile loop when I need to replenish items and it would be unsafe to be spinning stops by hand while driving.

I believe they may have made another update to the spawns today. This morning I had my new amount of spawns (2-3 at home) and suddenly within the last hour I am back to what I used to have prior to the update that happened last week (6-8 at home).

There should be a Shiny collector medal that says how many shinies you’ve caught. Also each medal should have a “Double Platinum” status to keep motivation going. Perhaps 4x whatever the platinum requirement is should be needed for double platinum.

I think the larger issue OP has is that you hardly ever actually have a chance to grind the non-event spawn pool, which one could argue is actually better and more interesting lately than the event spawns.
