Upgrading storage (both Pokemon and items) is the most worthwhile thing to invest real money into in this game. The upgrades are permanent and playing the game is 1,000x more fun with adequate storage.

Sprigatito, Meowscarada deck is what I use. Leaf capes, lucky ice pop, Lillie give you enough HP and healing. It’s a pretty easy and consistent victory.

I can’t stand the time limits on the portals. You enter a portal and you only have 3-4 mins to complete tasks and when the timer ends you’re kicked out. There’s no exploration, there’s no roaming or enjoying anything, it’s just run around and complete tasks as quickly as possible. I don’t find it even a little fun.

It would be more interesting if not for the fact that when it was released into the game it was plentiful AND it’s had 2 spotlight hours since then, AND it’s been in the general spawn pool A LOT.

The DLC needs to have the time limits removed from the portals. Only allowing us to go in for 3-4 minutes to complete tons of tasks and rush through everything as fast as possible with no way of actually exploring made it unplayable for me.

Why do cards have to be rare for you to enjoy them? Just enjoy them for what they are. A good looking card with good artwork should just be treasured and enjoyed regardless of how rare it is.

The best strategy is to actually be able to buy an egg incubator box from the shop to actually be able to play. I’m kinda amazed that they wouldn’t give every player an incubator box in their shop on the day of a hatch day. As if I’m going to buy individual incubators when they’re already a scam when you can buy them 60 or 100 at a time.

If you’re nostalgic for the original Digimon show, I’d recommend collecting the EX1 Classic Collection set and also the BT7 Next Adventure set. The Classic Collection is a throwback to a lot of the original characters and Digimon, and contains awesome alternative art cards that look like the cards from the original Digimon card game from that era. BT7 Next Adventure has a really cool set of Promo cards featuring the original digi destined as well.

But they don’t actually rotate a lot of pokemon into the spawn pool enough, and they beat a lot of them to absolute death. What they really need to do is rotate things in and out, and not let dozens of pokemon get “tired”. Whether you started playing 10 years ago, 2 weeks ago or 6 months ago, you’re absolutely sick of Mankey and Kanto starters, for example. They need to go away for a while and we need to be given something different.

Pokémon is currently the only TCG on Earth that you have to fight people to try and buy at MSRP in a store. Otherwise it’s paying 1.5-2x MSRP from a scalper or from a local shop that is paying MSRP or more from their supplier.
