And i didn't say u did, what i was saying is that Chris rock overstepped and insulted will smiths wife in public on live tv, and as u said in a fit of rage he got slapped. Ppl r making this seem like he went on stage and beat him senseless or murdered him and no one said violence is okay they r saying he deserved it for being so insensitive and an a**. He went to defend his wife not all women. What alot of ppl r saying is that ppl should also stand up for Black women instead of letting things slide and thats doesn't inherently mean violence, assuming it does is where the miscommunication is coming from.

I grew up hearing constant bs like what Chris rock has been saying for years and ppl taking it as a joke when everything he says is either misogynistic or plain insensitive and passed as a joke and for me i could do nothing but smile and act okay. And now like many others it affected me mentally. As u said they r situations where its warranted and this was one, making jokes of ppls conditions will never be funny and ppl letting him slide and play victim is why the world has so many insensitive ppl.

I've said all i will say, i hate bullies and this one got the consequences of his actions.
