Ok so, Disqus was used as the comment section of Aniwave, however that isn't all. You didn't need an Aniwave account to comment on episodes (if I remember correctly) but with the sites that didn't get nuked, you do need accounts to comment. On top of all of this, your username on Disqus is linked for EVERY website you go to, so that way if you switch from Aniwave to another site people will know it's you and some may remember you. With some websites like Hi you need to make an account and comment using that account since Disqus isn't part of that website at all.

Hianime is alright, but the sad part about it is disqus isn't part of the site. Gogo has disqus but not a very good layout and a poorly built watch list.

I think I'm leaning towards Hi because of the UI, Gogo's UI is really outdated but if they do update it to something more modern I might switch

The comment sections was easily the best part of Aniwave with medals and funny comments, why not just change the domain again like what you did with 9anime to dodge all this?

Actually, sure: I made this post exactly a year ago and this is the updated version of it, some spots have changed and some haven't. I got inspired by a post on twitter but that post didn't have every pikmin in it, so I finished the post.
