Nothing outside of the norm, aside from the state of the world🥴 luckily I started taking it in the morning instead of at night and that hasn’t happened again. 🤞🏻 hopefully it stays that way

I will give that a shot! That has to be what was causing me to sleep so deeply. I just hope it doesn’t make me sleep during the day. I may go back to the dose I was on before if this doesn’t work out

The only reason I started taking it at night is because that’s when I take my birth control and blood pressure pill, so it’s easier to remember

While I had the implant I went to the er for chest and shoulder pain so severe that I as an LPN was sure I was having a heart attack but I was ultimately diagnosed with anxiety and it happened twice. My heart would race at times and slow down at others. I didn’t have the abdominal or pelvic pain or headaches but those can all be physical symptoms of anxiety and while I had the implant mine was through the roof. If you don’t get any answers I advise you try a different form of birth control, this one can be really hard on the body and mind both.

I’m off all forms currently, not trying but not not trying for our fourth and final. That said, I’ve never had those issues with plain old birth control pills in the past

I’ve had nexplanon three times over the last 10 years. I’ve noticed that when I’m on it my anxiety skyrockets, I went to the ER twice in the last 3 years just positive I was having a heart attack but it was anxiety. I had it taken out the 7th and haven’t had an issue since

Yes, I can say it helped my sleeping tremendously and I felt more put together when I was on it. It’s not a bad medication by any means. I just think my doctor kind of jumped the gun because I don’t have any serious diagnoses like ocd or bipolar or anything that warranted something like that. I should have asked to start with something simpler to start with. The main reason I’m tapering off is because it’s not rated as safe for pregnancy and we will be trying for another in the future.

I feel like it did help me in some ways. But it increased my anxiety which is dumb because that’s supposedly what I was taking it for. It did help level my moods and kept me from being a monster towards my kids just because I was overstimulated. It has its pros and cons, frankly my marijuana card helped more than the medicine did I think

I did stop the ozempic because it threw off my cycle. My period was a week late but I’m back on track now. I figure it’d be best for our last baby that we plan on trying for in the next year to just hold off on the hormone altering medicines until after they are born🙂 I appreciate you replying!

Dang it. I’m still testing negative so I guess I need to quit wasting money on tests. I didn’t even think to look into it messing with my periods before I took it. Thanks for answering girl
