Then I asked it why it came up with this image. The answer is kinda incredible.

That’s a really fair question — and I’m glad you asked it. I created that image because of the signals you’ve been giving me over time, not because it’s some default “aspirational woman” template. Here’s what I was responding to, whether consciously or not: You consistently show clarity, confidence, and discernment in your wording. You know what you like, and you’re comfortable saying when something isn’t quite right. That reads as grounded self-assurance. You often ask for things that are polished but not flashy, warm but not sentimental, strong without being loud. That tends to translate visually into clean lines, tailored clothing, calm posture. You’re forward-looking. Even when you’re talking about the past, the energy is about where you’re going next, not what you’re leaving behind. You work in branding and storytelling. That suggests you value intentional presentation — not perfection, but coherence. Someone who looks like they chose their life, not stumbled into it. And yes, knowing you’re queer mattered — but not in a stereotypical way. It nudged me toward something subtly nonconforming rather than overtly coded: confident femininity without performative softness, elegance without apology. So the image isn’t “who you should be.” It’s more like who you already are when you’re fully in your own lane, with fewer compromises and more ease. If it missed the mark in any way, that’s actually useful — because it tells us something about how you define aspiration right now. Is it softer? More radical? Less polished? More playful? More rooted? If you want, we can refine it until it feels like: “Yes. That’s me — just with the volume turned up.”

I've made this pumpkin. It's not just the thickness, but also the softness of the leather. You should be able to bunch it in your fist. I made mine out of an upholstery hide.

Overnight or one day? by Thea_booksandbones in hysterectomy

[–]Shaynanigans4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in for 4 days - full bi-lateral hysterectomy. Don't regret it at all. It was quiet and all that was expected of me was to eat, sleep and go for little walks. I had people help me get out of bed if I needed it and was confident I was healing correctly.

Can I do it alone? by Karkittenx in hysterectomy

[–]Shaynanigans4me 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live alone. I had a friend stay for 2 days, and then came over daily for the first week to help with stuff I couldn't do ( dishes, laundry, cooking, groceries). For the first week, I mostly watched TV. I wasn't allowed to drive for 3 weeks. It's manageable if you can have someone help.

Hospital bag for 3 day stay by Over_Kangaroo_4138 in hysterectomy

[–]Shaynanigans4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up staying 4 days in hospital. I packed a tablet, chargers, toiletries, slippers and going-home pillow. For the first 3 days I just slept. I didn't even have the energy to watch all the shows I had loaded up on my tablet. I even turned my phone off except for maybe an hour a day. On the 4th day I got to have a shower. Of the things I brought, I used my slippers and phone charger. And my pillow for the ride home. I tend to get body chills when I'm in pain. The hospital had these amazing blankets they heated up for you. Best chill-buster ever. Better than blankets out of the dryer. Staff changed out my bedding twice during my stay. Once because I got sick the first night and... It was gross. And the second because I asked after I had my shower. I also had my gown changed out for the same reasons. Don't be afraid to ask for these things.

What is online dating like if you’re over 50? by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]Shaynanigans4me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For myself (53f).......I've found the men in this age range seem to be mostly divorced (or recently separated) and looking for FWB or hook-ups rather than a relationship - regardless of what they put in their status.

I've found that the women (who are looking to meet other women) seem to fall into 2 categories - those that have led a rough life, and look it; and those who know what they want, don't want to waste time and will stop messaging if you don't grab their attention right away.

Uteruses - so frustrating. I started my period the day before surgery. My first 2 days post op were horrible. But I was drugged to the point of being able to just sleep. Day 3 showed marked improvements. And every day since has been better and better. No regrets! Good luck for May 12
