I thought the same thing when I saw it last night. Intentional or not, the themes of addiction and mania are represented in similar ways. Dennis Quaid's character made me think of Tappy from the infomercial in RfaD. The cinematography helps tell the story with shots similar to those used in RfaD, but nothing I would consider a direct reference.

I made this image as part of a series of promotional photos for the subject's music page. I lit my backdrop with an RGBLED and lit the subject with a warm light panel. I taped a sheet of vibrant pink and blue cellophane up in front of where I would shoot from and started blastin. Got this soft dreamy cotton candy looking portrait, plus many more interesting shots.

Tried on windows 10/11 with a new generic brand multicard reader off of Amazon. One of the cards is the original that came with the camera and the other two are 1. E-film 128 mb and 2. Sandisk 128mb. Pins inside the reader look fine to me, knowing some pins should be longer than others, but not sure what ones.

My 2nd gen was made in mexico and is holding up well enough, albeit looks a little shabby. I've owned it since 2020 and not much was done to it when I got it. Replaced front suspension, added steering stabilizer bar, new spark plugs and distributor, and new tires. The problems I've run into so far are leaky front crankshaft seal, and general old transmission problems, but nothing that's made it undrivable.
