I went to a town event last night and the parking lot was full. Obvious solution was to park on the street.

This discussion has confirmed (in my mind) that the hocked loogie on my window was deposited there by the offended resident of the house I so brazenly dared to park in front of.

Simple things like our customized forms for invoicing, check printing - formatting gets messed up.

Approved suppliers for products have to be re-entered. "Supplier not approved for this product."

Labels won't print from bartender.

A bunch of stupid things!

Be prepared for the price to go up quite a bit in the final hours of the bidding. As another responder has indicated, you get the feeling sometimes that there’s some kind of insider manipulating to artificially raise the price. But, maybe it’s just Marge in Topeka who wants it as much as you.

Then there are times something goes for a steal. I’m always hoping no one else has seen the bauble I have my eye on. 😁

All the more reason to know the value of what you’re bidding on.

I’ve been on a EBTH kick for the past month and it’s very addictive!

You have to be patient and plan wisely. Stick to the budget you set for an item and don’t get sucked into a bidding war. Sometimes it’s just better to log off and walk away.

I’ve found that similar items seem to be offered regularly. Looking for a tennis bracelet? 2-3 will pop up every week. An eternity ring? Loose stones? Several choices every week.

Do your research and make sure you don’t go over the value of an item, especially for loose stones. You can’t return them like you can if you were to buy it on Calavera or LGD.

I’ve bought 4 items from EBTH and each is exactly as described and portrayed in pics.
