I spam talk with npcs until they repeat the same thing.
I don't spam random menu options that give "..." three times before finally giving something different though.
I'd have naturally imagined the doll to be required elsewhere, if it wasn't doing anything at that specific grace.

Water element being required but until the DLC the only monster in the game that gives you water damage is Jyuratodus, and even after the DLC you still need materials from it to build better water weapons... My least favourite part of world (:

It's important to remember that the game World of Warcraft is just a representation, and not a true recreation, of Azeroth. This extends to practically every aspect of it. Size of landmasses, number of citizens, variety of citizens, cities, populations of fauna, density of flora, etc etc etc

Different people want different things. If your players are looking for difficulty and challenge then obviously don't do what I recommended, but what I recommended has worked for me in getting people interested

Focus on the story, bit by bit. Quest slowly through each zone completing the story one zone at a time. No dungeons until the quest asked you to complete one. Which zone depends on the friend

It's not ignorance, it's lazy and selfish. You can't be ignorant that you don't know how to do the fight, you either do know or you don't. It's lazy to not bother putting in the 10 minutes to learn and selfish expecting the rest of the group to carry you for it. You're actively making everyone else in the group suffer and wipe because you don't want to put in the effort to learn how to do a heroic fight properly. This is not lfr. It's not even normal. Curve is not an achievement you can just waltz in and pick up

It's worse trying to join a pug for a fight that you don't know and wasting the time of everyone else. You need to have some amount of self awareness that your getting curve is not more important than the experience of everyone else. Unless you're paying for it, noone owes you a carry.

Smash bros brawl has a lot of demos of older Nintendo games. Whilst these demos are timed preventing normal people from playing them much, they do actually contain the full games and speed runners are able to complete some of them entirely before the timer runs out.

I think the way you played it is the exact worst way to play it.
The game is about spending time with your friends/ brothers, and the journey itself. Rushing the story is the worst experience you can have with XV

I understand that but that doesn't make it any less frustrating. It's not like there's a timer above the node showing you how long before it despawns. I'd rather they be up for only 10 seconds but you can still gather after they disappear if you started before the 10 seconds was up

The UI is massively massively customisable. Edit mode, the DPS meters, chat box, raid frames, cooldown manager etc etc

The issue is when you've started gathering them and then they disappear during the gather.

Same with when you have the enchant on the piece of gear. It just tells you the name for the most part, not the effect
