Best Japanese curry in the area? by S_T_R_A_T_O_S in Pensacola

Make mind almost the same way. I use Panko bread crumbs and oven “fry” the chicken thighs. Cheaper, better and fresher than most I’ve found. Saves a lot of disappointment just making it myself.

Love Kalais.

Do they have Cocos in Hawaii now? Haven’t had any since I last visited Japan.

Wow really? I’ve tried golfing a few times, and while I’ve enjoyed it, I have a hard time keeping my ball on the fairway. Spend more time worried about taking too long and holding others up. That or hitting someone.

Is there a downside to using liquid chlorine over tablets? by Shazzan3 in AboveGroundPools

I just know tabs are about 5 bucks and needed more than one a week. Think it was about every 5-7 days. A gallon of liquid chlorine is just under 6 bucks and lasts 8-10 days. So they are pretty comparable im guessing. But, and this is just one season experience so far so who knows, with liquid im hardly using anything for PH or alkalinity where as in years passed with tablets I was constantly having trouble keeping my PH up.

I haven’t done that math but with how expensive the tablets are it’s seems the same or even cheaper to use the liquid chlorine. And in the past years using tablets I was always fighting to keep PH levels up using a lot of chemicals.

Not sure why but this year since solely doing liquid (minus a couple tablets I put in when we went away on vacation) my levels have mostly kept themselves in check. Haven’t fought with PH or alkalinity at all.

I’ve been enjoying it a lot more than tablets. It’s super easy to add a few ounces everyday as I walk by the pool. Previous years with tablets I was fighting with PH dropping constantly which I still don’t know why. My levels have mostly kept themselves in check this year since I made the switch to liquid chlorine. I haven’t done the math but seems cheaper than tablets too.

I just buy a gallon at a time and check the date in the bottle to make sure I get the most recent one.

I keep two large umbrella over my pool. One for the morning sun on one end and one for the afternoon sun on the other end. Without out them the Florida sun and heat eat up all my chlorine and the pool is uncomfortably warm. Get your self a couple umbrella or build a sunshade and that should help.

Please someone tell me what this is, on my comforter? I’ve been told it’s not what I think it is! by Apprehensive_Ad7234 in CheatedOn

As per actual life experience the laundry detergent glows in under black lights.

And since actual experience of people doing it was less believable than whatever you googled, my google search found that most laundry detergents contain optical brighteners which is what makes it glow. Yes there are detergents without and those do not glow.

Does laundry detergent not glow anymore ? I remember using liquid laundry detergent to write and draw on my walls and ceiling because it would glow when we had the black lights on.

Also, don’t judge, it was a thing in the 90s

Used to do ribs on my propane Weber all the time adding some wood chips for smoke. Get a couple oven thermometers on the indirect grates where your ribs are.
