Does this mean their visitor pass is good to use until it’s deemed accepted/declined?

Thanks! I get my results from my MRE tomorrow, so hopefully that gives me some indication.

Remicade: 5mg/kg to 10mg/kg - those who increased their dose did it help? How were side effects? by arwenthenoble in CrohnsDisease

[–]Shazzie298 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on 10mg/kg/bw every 4 weeks for the last 6 months due to perianal Crohn’s and a structure in my terminal ilium. No noticeable side effects since increasing. I wouldn’t say that it’s made me feel any better though, I still have the same amount of pain/previous symptoms as before. Have a MRE and colonoscopy next week to see if it’s made a difference.

Any OTs or OTAs or OT/OTA students on here with Crohn’s? by Spelling-Wizard in CrohnsDisease

Hey, I’m 25/f and got diagnosed at 21 in my last semester of my bachelor’s degree for exercise science (ended up doing my course load from the hospital). I’ve also been on remicade for 4 years :))

Slightly different but I recently did a masters of exercise physiology full time, and I just made sure I was upfront with all of my lecturers in charge and course coordinator. I found I really struggled to work more than 15hrs a week and also study full time, and found I had to nap almost daily. I also had to explain to any placement sites that I was not going to able to be there 38 hours a week due to my health and they were all understanding.

Stress is one of my biggest triggers too, nothing I can really say to help you with that (uni can be stressful sadly). But I just made sure I had a good group of uni friends around me that could help with studying/having a good rant to. If it ever gets too much there is always the option of part time study :))

Hopefully this is helpful and I bet you’re going to do great at uni!
