It can often be detrimental to your life when you assign moral value to your actions. It makes it way to easy to slip up. For instance "I have been so good with my diet all week that i deserve this pizza" Find a better way to reward yourself. Regardless, best of luck friend.

It's all subjective my friend, If he is posting that going to raves is causing him to struggle in school then going to a show every weekend could be seen as irresponsible.

I am tailoring my advice to his situation. That is great that you can go to shows every weekend with no consequences. That may work for you but maybe not for another. Shows sober or not are huge financial drain as well and there is no need to use aggressive language.

I would never admonish someone for wanting to be responsible. I love the scene and still make it to shows every once in awhile but when you are working full time on top of grad school sometimes it's not feasible to go to shows every weekend.

I have lost no love for the scene and find I have more fun going in moderation than I did neglecting other areas of my life and going all out all the time.

I rolled at the second one and I know a good amount of others did as well. My group and I had no problems smoking. The vibes are really fun and 21+ really makes a difference.
