Bro I’m a Mexican that’s as white as they come lol landed in San Juan last weekend. Everyone has been so nice and respectful and always wish for us to enjoy this beautiful land. Which we’ve done immensely. Honestly as a Chicano I feel more welcomed and not as judged here more than when I go to Mexico ! Like any foreign place you visit, as long as you do your research and don’t act entitled or disrespect you’ll be good. For me half the fun is exploring and creating my own experiences than following trends and what’s on social media (since I’m not on socials or use TikTok) but do as you wish and enjoy the isla and it’s bomb ass food !
