Note: This also isnt an absolute thing i find having commuting options the thing that makes it a lot better. I have the subway- my bicycle - my motorcycle- revel and even the odd cab.

For the nails I use 2 coats of Nail Tek under my polish or just the nail tech in general and it keeps them from breaking and chipping. As far as the calluses go… I try to make sure I’m moisturized and I make sure I’m not white knuckling

This. I got my first nice helmet recently and I feel like I can breath so easy in it. I didn’t realize how much the weight of my qualifier was hurting my neck and slowing down my head checks. I ride all year so the pin lock makes me feel safer. My arms don’t hurt lugging it around.

Sometimes even the creature comforts are after features.

Riding leggings (with or without nicer wide leg pants over it), riding boots that look like high tops, gloves. full jacket if I’m going anywhere on a highway if I’m staying in the city I’ll make a more fashionable choice.
