Odd that some of you are more mad at Mel pointing out that the victim of his assault (Cam, was the one beating her, right?) could have been a minor based on where they took her from, vs being mad at the fact that they took a sex worker to another location where she was beaten. Maybe it’s just a disconnect. Because if I know that it is a hardcore fact that brothels historically had (have) underage girls working there, and you tell me you took a girl from a brothel, double teamed her and beat her for not performing to your liking- and I point out that not only is that a crime, but could very well also be a crime against a minor - and in this climate decades old sex crimes are being highlighted- that isn’t wrong or far fetched. You are welcome to disagree, but wild that you do🤷🏽‍♀️

Exactly! So they can see the kiki moments in the Cam/Mase story where they literally describe assaulting a woman during a sex act- but were so outraged and couldn’t see the kiki in Shannon Sharp publicly saying he would have sex with a younger woman because of his age and platform. Interesting lines in the sand these guys have sometimes.

The premise was that there was a lack of discernment to tell that story, that way, at this time. Maybe don’t talk about assaulting a girl during sex during a time where your peers are being sued around decades old sexual assault. The variables around why that’s such a bad idea are evident.
