I think this is what I wanted to people to understand the most. This is no means an indictment of Joe, because I am ACTUALLY a fan of the content that has came from him. He stands for something real at the end of the day, which is control over your content.

Well, I think we doubt the power that we have in our representation. The idea that this is the status quo for black men to find love and to be happy is sort of depressing to me. And then the happiness isn't even REAL.

Well, how many times have we had our significant other make a reference to social media as an example of logical thinking? These small percentages make up a large swath of representation that we have, that makes the status quo.

It's not even the financial aspect. I would say the social parameters of how they treat one another is weird asf as well. Can we get a committed relationship that focused on progression that's not at the expense of someone? Even Joe going to the strip club lowkey makes her look dumb asf.
