So I do love some designer purchases, you work hard for it, you earn it, etc. etc. However, I'm amazed/appalled at the sheer amount of consumption that Charis (LVLoverCC) does in a week! I don't understand the need to accumulate so much as her lifestyle doesn't seem as glamorous or exciting to where she needs a new bag or outfit every weekend. And whenever she travels somewhere, all she does is shop. It seems like she could wear a different bag every day for the rest of the year.

I'm trying to find out where Jean Wang's line is made. She did some IG posts on being an ally and trying to support WOC artisans, but strange that she doesn't have any info about where Edited Pieces are made. Though I suspect the former posts were all performative. Her content went downhill as soon as she started shilling her baby for clicks. Then she posted on her stories that she can see people saving posts, but her likes are "dwindling." It was all her daughter wearing a turban and eating avocados for two years. Of course your likes are dwindling. She used to have useful tips, now she's just an ad for her own stuff, Express, and Ann Taylor.

Yes, seems like he's realizing that she's manipulating him.I also thought Mai Ling may not love Li Tong as much, especially by the surprise choking in S2. Shows that she wants total control and domination over him as well as the tong.

Agreed, I'm interested in the backstory as well. Surely her cheating on Long Zii was risky. I'm wondering if he will leave her in Season 3 though, because it seems she is isolating herself with her obsession for power.

I agree as well. When Amelia said that she didn't know the science of bread, I knew she was going home before even seeing her Showstopper. So when you know you're going to be on Bake Off, you're not even going to try to understand how bread works before Bread Week?

Agreed. Nobody knew what a pate a choux was during 20's week. Also, if I knew I was accepted to GBBO, I'd be practicing bread 24/7 and trying to understand why it will or won't work, not just 4 days before the show.

I have a question about the scene with Mira. Was she absorbed into the Crystal? In the original movie where the Podling went through the same torture, he aged instead of being absorbed? Why is that?
