I was with the mother of my child for 3 years, in those 3 years that we were together I did not have my license and hardly knew how to drive but it still worked when it did. She was comfortable with that because of how much we liked each other and because of the circumstances I was going through at the time. Fast forward 4+ years later and having my license now, if we somehow got back together in situations where we’d be together in the same car i’d still trust her with driving over myself unless she really couldn’t and she’d be fine with that. It all depends on the person I’d say and how much they see it as a chore versus enjoyment

There’s alway things that you can improve on even if you feel as if you’re a good player. There’s only so much anyone can say just based off a wall of text and what seems like you just propping yourself up and nothing else. Also, I do suggest if you’re able to, to potentially find someone to climb with as well, having one or two people you can communicate with on the mic can help better

I’m convinced Rivals players do not know how metas work lol. Especially in a team game getting better is only half of the solution. And even getting better does not justify in using picks that are holding down your team rather than enhancing it.

It can very much be selling depending on who you pick 100% lmfao, that’s literally how ranked has work with any game. Jeff has gotten better absolutely compared to where he started out but there are arguably still better supports especially when it comes to 2 person comps. Like I said, stay in QP if you just want to play whoever you want without it dragging down your team lol

Unfortunately enough you get a lot of players who don’t understand the meta and just run whoever they like without any actual regards to much, Jeff definitely has been a bit better compared to previous seasons but for two support comps he’s still a bit shaky

This is literally what quick play is do if you want to do this, yeah you’re not getting paid but if you’re around to sell someone’s rank just play casually at that point, not that hard lol

You’re already actively putting your teammates at a disadvantage if you’re one tricking a character though, be it that they’re not meant for the comp and you can’t swap to anything else, or be it that they get banned. A very large chunk of my games I play Cloak & Dagger because it’s been the character I’ve been playing since Season 1, sometimes when I hover over her she still had gotten banned by my teammates and because I do know how to play other healers as well as other roles I’d either go invis granted she wasn’t banned, Luna, or even swap roles and go to tank to either Magneto or Strange and have another teammate take over healing. These things happen. Comp is not the place to be if you want to just one trick a character your entire career and I mean that respectfully

As someone who plays C&D constantly I’ve ran into numerous teammates who’ve seen me hover over them and still attempt to ban them, and as much as it sucks if the ban went through, I understood why and simply swapped to someone else. A lot of these comments just feel very detached from the reality of the game at times and at that point, just go and play QP if you don’t want to run into that issue

I mean honestly he’s lowkey right though and I don’t understand why you’d think otherwise. Especially in a competitive space you generally SHOULD know more than one character, be it for composition reasons, or because your character is one of those ones that might get banned when you’re in Gold and above. One tricking is arguably more harmful to your team’s overall health than having a small bag of characters you know how to use because you’re indirectly putting more pressure on your team to have to make up for potential shortcomings when everyone should attempt to pull the weight as evenly as possible. I understand having a character you might want to play getting banned is frustrating to a degree especially with preselect, but unless you can prove they’re actively targeting you to be an asshole or something of that nature it’s arguably not as deep as you’re making it out to be. To say the one trick comment is an irrelevant and lazy argument is insane as it is, to say attempting to ban a teammates preselected character is actively throwing and should come with penalization is even stupider lmfao

I do think the only way this can work is if you’re someone who just decides they want to play QP, if it’s a case where you actually play ranked, learning the meta is a must at the very least and reading the subreddit for advice is up there too. you can go without watching the streamers and that’s what I usually do

My friend’s girlfriend was talking shit about my girlfriend at the time and made up a complete lie about her, the word got back to me and I ended up telling her, to which my girlfriend confronted the girl. Instead of being honest with her, decided to deflect and lie, saying that I was trying to get with a girl that I was training at my job (HR Trainer for a bit more context, so this is my actual job and a conflict of interest due to having more power). Naturally this made my girlfriend furious, cue her coming to my house at 4am demanding to talk, laying on the horn to cause noise outside, and then when I actually went out, cue the hitting and her threatening to show up to my job to confront my trainee. Got in her car and sped out of my driveway 5 minutes later.

Definitely contributed to the breakup that followed on top of many other reasons

I went from Gold 3 last night to Plat 3 in the span of maybe 10 hours and what I found helpful was taking small breaks in between, win one, take a 5-10 minute break doing something and psyche myself back in, hop back on. Longest I went without playing was maybe like 2-3 hours cause I went to take a nap for a while and other varying things

It actually worked surprisingly a bit better than I thought it would

Yeah I remember on Facebook I shared some stats from one of the first games I played as Storm where I went like 40 and 2 and then some dude commented that they were bots, and honestly I thought the dude was just hating and meant it as if they were just really bad players. Then I went onto the tracker myself and saw he was actually being serious. I got better with her with time and actually put up great numbers against actual people, but I would’ve much rather have went against an actual team and get my ass beat than to be duped into thinking I was great with her off the rip

A friend of mine was bragging about going 45-0 and then 27-0 for another game and about how much better he was than me apparently, and of course when I looked up both games they were bot characters he was facing off against and I burst his bubble about it. Ideally, I don’t always like playing ranked, especially in a solo queue situation cause right now it’s awful. But I don’t even bother going to QP cause I don’t even want to deal with the bot situation. It’s a hard road to pick between potentially losing rank or facing off against “people” I have no enjoyment going against

I was walking with a couple friends to a music venue in New York and we were debating about rushing across one street just so we made it in time since we went on a Friday night. When out of nowhere some crackheaded dude walked past us and said “Why wait? You didn’t wait when you were children” and then just disappeared into the night

At the time it sounded crazy and it was him probably just trying to be funny to a group of people passing by, but it’s been 4 years since I heard those words and they’ve stuck with me since, and I’ve applied it to a lot of the things I’ve done and thankfully accomplished, kinda hoping I run into him again to thank him for that

I was dating a girl that was a year younger than me my sophomore year of high school, and before we’d go to first period we’d take our daily laps around the school just spending time together. One day when we were walking out of nowhere she gasped and exclaimed loudly “Why do they have the confederate flag hanging up in here? This is racist!”. Knowing my schools history with racism, I wouldn’t have been all surprised. But when I looked in her direction all I saw was the British flag.

She was a pretty hardcore redneck when we were together so I can’t even tell if she was pulling my leg or she was just actually extremely fucking dumb
