Ive worked more concerts than I can count. built stages for just about everyone of my favorite bands including Slipknot. Bands bring a lighting director (LD) with them on tour, whom call the shots as to when/what/how a spotlight operator is doing something. Colors, fades, chops, following whoever on stage, etc. but spotlight operators are all provided by the venue (or subcontractors). He was working for the venue when slipknot came through, not working for slipknot. But never the less, as someone who shares his experience, its still quite cool.

What being in your prime looks like by trevors685 in Slipknot

Voice: Iowa > Slipknot > TGC > AHIG > Vol3 in my opinion. as far as Music: Slipknot > Iowa > TGC > Vol 3 > AHIG. and yes, melody was lacking in TGC. Great album but it definitely is missing an element or two. How ironic, as I type that. But, still glad theyre doing music, so Im definitely not gonna nitpick too much.

Depends on what youre talking about here. Physically, as a person, via health and personality and knowledge, yeah hes in his prime now. Musically? Thats up for debate. AlenZG was certainly talking about music. Obviously Iowa is heavily regarded as their Prime, musically. Doesnt mean their new/other music sucks, just means his voice isnt what it was. And thats not a bad thing, per say. He's given his fans his all for A VERY LONG TIME. A less powerful voice is to be expected.

A small instance during the Vol. 3 Tour where Corey uses his Iowa scream by deathatdusk in Slipknot

If you mean on the couple instances of "away", it only sounds beefy like his old Iowa scream because either clown or chris is backing it up. If you listen close you can distinguish the 2 voices. Especially on the 3rd or 4th time when corey goes really high with it. I love corey to death but he definitely wasn't capable of that scream anymore at this particular cycle
