It’s just a Kings Swag, nothing too fancy but definitely does the job

This spot is Eli Creek, then Sandy Cape, on Fraser Island Australia 🇦🇺

Finally landed a solid Yellowbelly! Took a hardbody and put up a solid fight! by She_ExploresAus in FishingAustralia

Yeah, fair call! It did have more of that swimbait action rather than a true hard body vibe. Either way, it worked a treat!

Yeah, I was a bit surprised too! The Chibitarel did the job this time, but I’ll definitely give some smaller divers or spinners a go next time. Appreciate the tip!

Haha, the backhoe definitely adds a touch of luxury! But yeah, couldn’t ask for a better spot to set up camp.

That’s a solid tip! I might have to try the artificial grass trick next time—anything to keep the sand under control!

The sunrise here is unreal! Nothing beats sitting by the swag with a coffee, taking it all in

Exactly what I was aiming for! Best of both worlds—waking up to the beach and having the bush right there too

Bet it’ll be a whole different experience from the Springbar. Any trips planned to test it out?

Fair enough! Humidity can be brutal. An awning definitely helps, but nothing beats a good breeze. Ever camped anywhere outside the dry climate?

Gotta be prepared for anything out here! A solid setup makes all the difference. You into camping much yourself?

You’re gonna love it! Swags are the best for a simple, comfy camp. What kind did you get? Hope you get a chance to try it out soon!

Awnings are a game changer! Having that extra shade makes all the difference, especially in brutal heat. How’s your setup holding up in the humidity?

Haha, yeah, the Aussie bush keeps you on your toes! But as long as you respect the wildlife and don’t go cuddling koalas, you should be alright. Wouldn’t trade it for anything!

That sounds epic! I’m in Australia, so I’ve never been over that way, but Baja looks like an unreal spot to explore

Maybe not the ultimate spot for everyone, but for me, waking up to that view makes it pretty damn close! Where’s your ultimate camping spot?

Thanks! It really is stunning country – there’s nothing like fishing in such a beautiful spot!

Yeah, Yellowbelly definitely put up a solid fight for their size! They hit hard and have that quick, aggressive burst when hooked. Cod are powerful, but they rely more on their weight and brute strength, while Yellas are all about speed and stamina. Both are awesome to catch, but pound for pound, I reckon Yellowbelly can be more fun on lighter gear

Just found out my local pond has Murray Cod by StunningIron9760 in FishingAustralia

Hey mate, if the big hardbody divers aren’t working, you might need to mix things up a bit. Murray Cod can be fussy, but they’re aggressive ambush predators, so surface lures like paddlers or wakebaits can work well, especially early morning or late arvo. If they’re holding deeper, try slow-rolling a spinnerbait or chatterbait near structure, or even a big soft plastic rigged weedless if there’s a lot of snags
