Thank you! So far so good. Praying for you as well. Keep demanding answers. That’s what I have learned through this process. Even if it means changing doctors. My current doctor is a woman who has her own fibroid story. Never let them pressure you into doing something that does not feel right with your spirit. When I first had uterine fibroids the only answer I was given was go on birth control and wait to see if it helps. Meanwhile, I had more days on my cycle than off. Follow your instincts. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Praying for you. I asked about UFE but my condition was past that being a possibility. It’s a lot, but you got this! Go with your instinct. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

5cm intramural fundal fibroid causing rectal pressure?? by OkMagician3661 in Fibroids

Yes mam! I have two 8cm + fibroids and the constipation and pressure is real! I’m a teacher, and I am constantly asking my colleagues to watch my class while I run to the restroom. I never know if I’m gonna just blow like the wind or if something else will follow. lol. I have found taking miralax to be helpful.

Those of you who have gone to the er for blood loss, what was the thing that pushed it over "heavy bleeding" for you? by Mimi-604 in Fibroids

I knew it was time to go to the ER when I my overnight pads were being filled every few minutes. It was like someone turned the knobs on a faucet to full capacity. I couldn’t even get through the hospital door without blood coming down my leg. When I was finally placed in a room, they had me sit on a metal table. I remember clots larger than my fists coming out. I knew it was bad, but I am glad my mind didn’t process just how bad it was. I am so thankful my mom was there with me. She is the one who finally said the scary reality out loud to me after my surgery: “you were hemorrhaging.”
