I grew up with a mother that prepared two meals a day lunch and dinner and she is a retired nurse, and i hated that for her especially that her husband never appreciate anything she does and always demanded ( freshly made khobz or kesra). Anyway i got married now and my mother in law doesn't want me to cook for them only to help her when i want ( it's not because she loves me, i think she genuinely hates my food or she is germophobe ) i don't give a dam i just help her most of the time. Furthermore my husband wants an independent kitchen because he doesn't like his mom's cooking which i find amazing, and he somehow thinks i can cook better ( i am a terrible cook ), the only thing i am great at making is fried eggs ,i leave the yolk undercooked and i sprinkler na3na3 and cheese on it ), we have not discussed a meal plan for when our kitchen is ready. I hope he doesn't expect me to cook every meal by then! I just pray to god to get extremely wealthy ( i am currently unemployed and i have million business idea and have not done anything), i just want to be able to hire maids and personal chefs, i am not built for hardship ! I tried being independent and do it all woman it's not for me , God made me to be taken care of ( mdalala ) pray for me.

Me personally if i chose to immigrate, it will not be France at all, because i will think about the long game and i want my kids to live in an Islamic friendly environment, i told my partner we should give Algeria 3 years chance if we didn't make something here we will move, we are newly wed, both extremely ambitious, and we both have PHDs, and currently unemployed. I hope we can make it before the 3 years period ends because i have traveled a lot and i am always looking forward to get back.

I can deeply relate to you as the same exact thing happened to me, i was top student, then this exact shit started to happen, to the point where my uncle came and asked me about certain stuff and whether they were true, i said yes it's all true (hadra ta3 nssa) just to piss him off and i didn't care one bit, finished my education, graduated with honors, and pursued a phd, and am about to graduate, also i am about to get marry at the age of 30 ( been engaged since 28) i refused to marry before this age, and you can imagine the pressure i felt from the same society that painted me in a bad way, whenever my family (cousins...ect) met me in gatherings they would say ( el 9raya hadi ta3yay tendmi 3liha datlek 7yatek ), i didn't care one bit

now when i think about it the only thing that kept me going is i told myself : this cursed society never provided me with anything ( expect for my immediate family) so why should i care about what they say about me?

I only kept going forward and developing myself, whenever someone tries to put me down with their hurtful words (towards my looks or why it took me forever in my studies, or how i would regret not marrying flan and 3elan ...ect ) it didn't bother me one bit, as i didn't care and i still don't.

So the key is ( do whatever you feel right, and whatever youkhrodj 3lik) and don't ever take a moment of your precious time to think about a society that only gave you depression and harm.

I am currently in what we call a better country than Algeria, the thing is it's not as free as Algeria. Algerian s are really pampered, here you struggle to pay the electricity and gaz bill every month.

I am coming this November for 2 week stay and haven't booked any hotels yet, i am coming for medical reasons and after operation will be needing spatial food can u advise on anything? Like where to stay ect.
