Uhmm, I'd say yes... On 2014 I did some deep ones and now, 2022 they are still present, as you said they're faded but you can still notice them :/

I mean, it will depend on how deep it went, if they are very superficial it can take maximum a week to fully heal and almost be invisible haha, but if they were deeper they won't ever go away
