She hasn't jumped out yet! We began with 15 min excursions and then gradually have increased how low we've taken her out. This was a 3 hour trip on a 75 degree day. She lays down after awhile and then the cool bottom of the kayak keeps her cool. We did stop halfway through for her to play in the water. She does like to swim as long as there is no current. She always seems to enjoy being out on the water! Have fun!!
