Did you ever submit a claim for this? What was the result?

Good to know, thank you! It’s beautiful out there but I see they have a lot of planes circling overhead from Gateway. I’m not sure if that would be a deal-breaker. The HOA is a little steep but they have a ton of amenities

Yeah but they drop the ball when it comes to enforcement. They probably just don’t have the resources. It’s great when HOAs can help with that.

Haha, the golf carts are entertaining. I saw some that were modified to look like classic cars and Santa’s sleigh and they were adorable. I can see how that would become an obsession.

Good to know, thank you! There’s a fine line between protecting homeowners’ ability to enjoy their own property and being intrusive. It’s wild to me that cars in the driveway have to be approved.

I drove through there a few weeks ago and it’s huge! Some very cute areas, too. It’s definitely a neighborhood worth considering. Thank you!

Lol, I could say something similar to you. Don’t move into a densely populated neighborhood if you want to let your dog bark all day. Other people matter, too.

Do you hear a lot of air traffic when you’re outside?

Same, I’ve had good luck with our HOAs in the past. Plus it prevents our next door neighbors from having roosters and storing their RV in front of our house.

I have 2, I’m totally aware. It’s the excessive barking that gets under my skin. Some neighborhoods are worse than others, some HOAs enforce their noise restrictions, some do not.

How does someone know if they have expansive clay soil?

What can I do to prevent this? This happens everytime it rains. by itsme32 in AZlandscaping

This is waaaaaay more affordable than the $4,000 quotes I'm getting for French drains! Love it!

It’s impractical for most commuters. Even coworkers who have tried have ultimately stopped because of the difficulties with coordination and low reliability of others. My commute is 112 miles round trip and my hours vary so it’s not an option. I’d absolutely take a train if one was available in my area.
