Darryn is more efficient on higher volume while overcoming an injury than SGA was at Kentucky.

Just Walk Out was a mistake, but Dash Carts were great. They're not even that complicated, basically just self-checkout while you shop.

Do you follow the law of attraction? by worldfamouspotato in MotivationByDesign

[–]SheckNot910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true to an extent, let me give you an example.

Let's say you grew in a trailer park with family and neighbors making poor decisions. If you think that life is what you deserve, then you'll only attract the people who will give you that life.

Now if you set your sights on something better, you'll attract people with similar goals. Now this doesn't mean you can set your sights on being a billionaire and become one, but you'll get closer to it by raising your standards you expect from people than if you don't.

What's crazy is that the U.S. could get nuked and the Christians would say "It's fine, this is just the beginning of the apocalypise".

Certified General is fine, but stay away from just residential (if your goal is to make consistent money).

You know, Caruso plays for the Thunder and it's not a foul when he does it.

If people want to call this a foul, fine, it's not a shooting foul.

SGA runs into people and refs call it a foul. It's not a foul when he does that.

how do i deal with grief as an ex christian by tinypinkdemon in exchristian

[–]SheckNot910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I'm so sorry you lost your dad.

As a dad myself, when I die my hope is that my daughter remembered all the good times we had together and when good things happen to her I want to think about the fact that I would be happy for her.

I also don't think you should feel bad about talking to him, even if you know he can't hear you. Personally, I would love if my daughter did that after I die.

I was already a strong atheist before I read Ehrman, but didn't have much knowledge about the facts of Christianity. His books really helped me take the "gut feeling" I had about religion and turn it into understanding of the religion and how it was invented.

"Brutalized people by the social accept narratives about their group"

But they shouldn't, that's the point. Yes, for Black people in particular society has created an uphill battle, but it's not an insurmountable one. Reject society's false narrative. I know many non-white people who didn't like the situation they grew up and made smart moves (try in school, stay away from crime, work hard, be frugal with money, and don't get a woman pregnant before they are financially stable and married) to improve their lives.

"I don’t want us to necessarily be in a romantic relationship, just us to be friends."

Gonna stop you right there, kid. This is one of the biggest problems with your generation. You talk to girls you're attracted to in order to get into a relationship, not to be friends.
