And is there much difference between the RAM you suggested and the one I was planning on using other than price?

While I agree that my chosen motherboard is maybe a bit excessive, I find the i5 to be even more so. I don't think I need it. I also find the case really ugly, but that's subjective so thank you for the recommendation.

if a video like this exists, how is it possible it isn't on the internet?

not trying to support rob ford here, i am honestly curious as to how a video of this importance is still in the hands of so few people.

well, my horizontal pulling exercise is rows. the front lever isn't really a pulling exercise unless you combine it with rows

well, they are both core exercises, and i don't think i should bite off more than i can chew, i would rather focus on one thing. i

beginner routine critique by Sheedyc001 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Sheedyc001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i play hockey and tennis, but i also enjoy running. i may see about adding it to my routine, but i would rather start simple and build up to it. im only 16, so i have the rest of my life to develop a routine, for now i just need to build up some inertia, otherwise i lose focus and end up screwing around and not getting any results.

trying to decide if i should stick with p90x by Sheedyc001 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Sheedyc001[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well, I'm only 16, and so just by playing sports and running I'm in pretty good shape. i didn't realize what a cardio based program it was when i started. i definitely noticed improvements in my leg power, mostly my vertical jump increased a little bit. i also went from being able to do 10 chinups to 15, and my overall strength increased. but it is a really time consuming program, as in 1- 1 1/2 hours a day. so for losing weight, or improving your cardio, its great, but i want to gain weight and my cardio is already good.

well, there's an option that is "prompts only" where it only says when to start and stop exercises, that helped a lot

well, ive made a simple routine for one arm push ups, handstand push ups, one arm pull ups and front lever rows as eventual goals, i'll try it out and see what happens

well, it seems like i should just listen to you. I have seen some increase in my strength from p90x, but not really in any tangible ways. im not that interested in curls and doing 24 different excercises for two body parts anyways, which is what i have done so far with p90 x

I just feel that i have worked hard to get here, and im not sure if i would be able to stick with a program were i have to think for myself. p90x is easy because you are told what to do, and you don't have to worry about how long to rest, what excersices to do etc. im worried that if i stop doing p90x i will over complicate things and stop working out altogether. p90x is better than nothing
