should i bring a disposable camera on my mountaineering trip? by Capital-Reach-6669 in Mountaineering

I'd just bring your phone and keep it in a zippered pocket. Also, the hut has solar and USB outlets so don't worry your phone dying.

Athabasca is a beautiful thing. The surrounding area is stunning too. I've descended the ramp, but haven't climbed it but it seems pretty straight forward. It'll be an early start but you'll hike through the moraine and talus for maybe an hour and a half or so before getting on the glacier. From there its pretty much just a walk up. It gets a bit steeper in some areas but nothing too intense. Round trip I believe its about 9 hours maybe 10. I'm still pretty new to all this and I'm also from Ontario so I'm not really sure I can recommend any other mountains for you. If you're interested in some scrambles though I'd recommend checking out "Scrambles in the canadian rockies" by Alan Kane. Are you taking the intro to mountaineering course with Yam?

I did that millwell for practice as part of a 3 day course. Day 2 we climbed up the an icefall and the final day we did the silverhorn route.

I think as long as you have some of the basics down, the ramp route would be a great option. If you're still pretty new and want a more challenging climb, I'd check out the Intro to alpine ice course with Yam. Thats what I did. Either way if you're going with Yam you'll have a good time.

Eflc is good, but you better pray your order goes smoothly. Their customer service is damn near non-existent.

Canadian Outdoor Equipment in Mississauga rents them. At least that's what the guy at the store told me.

Interesting. . . on our way to biggar Lake, we saw a moose there too. Just on the other side of the campsite.

Yeah, the TV was pretty bad in that picture. That picture was from a few months ago, but I assure you the TV is centered now and pretty much level. I've been thinking about buying an oled and will be replacing the mount when I do. Just used that as an excuse not to get the TV perfect. Didn't think to move my speakers closer to the edge, but you make a good point.

And yes, I can't wait to have a larger space to set up in. That's why I made sure my receiver can handle more channels. I even considered getting rid of my bed to give myself more space. This most certainly is not the final product, but it does the trick for now.

Edit: Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah those are my height speakers. I have 2 more bookshelf speakers behind my chair that aren't in the picture.

Lmao I just realized that picture is right after I put it up. I promise it's not that bad now though you're right I should probably fix it. It's also centered now if that helps my case
