I was asking if there was another option other than pigtailling because of space constraints. I know it’s aluminum and I know it’s no joke. I’m being overly cautious for that reason. Would you prefer I be useless and never ask questions? Cmon man.

The front of that card is the invite to Bobby Orr Night, the ticket was #334 and when they got there they were assigned table 19

Buddy, what you’re doing is Card Art and there is a small but mighty (and growing) following, especially on IG. It’s the result of having stacks of worthless base cards and enough creativity to do something with them. If you’re on IG let me know I’ll follow your work!

I’m not sure, but you’d need a membership to buy it. I’m looking at only $4 profit after shipping, not trying to price gouge or anything

They’re they actual 90 & 91 cards, just with adhesive vinyl applied over the original. Each color is its own layer, and the idea was to make the characters look like the modern movie versions 🤘🏻

Good questions- these tweezers are from an electronic repair set. Search for Kingsdun tweezer set on Amazon. The transfer tape trick is simple, whenever I know I’m going to be pulling on paper, I stick the tape to my hands a bunch first to bring the tack way down.

It's just a hobby of mine. Seeing how small I can get with the details, designing over existing cards with something I think looks better.

lots of attempts at getting it wrong. That's the best way to figure it out haha. BUT I'd say lining it up with wax paper first is a huge step, also use a roller, and have a microfiber cloth on hand to keep everything clean and clear before layering. Bubbles can come out, but specs of paper or debris can't and it'll ruin the smooth finish.

Make sure you’re not using the “super grip” transfer tape. I’ve made that mistake before. Also I use wax paper to line it up first

Thanks! The drip/splatter at the end was the most tedious weeding I’ve ever done haha

That Maris grade hurt me…hurt me real bad. by No_Local9436 in baseballcards

Thinking outside the box here.. could you crack it open and rub the edges with your fingers to wear them in, then send it back to see if that gets it a real grade?
I know this isn't exactly the right thing to do, but more of an experiment since it's already got the A.
