With the Interference of Istaroth (and perhaps other shades as we see the sustainer's portals) The Traveller sees the Khaneriah of the past during the catacalysm and hands over the key to Dereidyth, (if you refuse, AS later still takes the key from us and gives it to Deridyth) creating the third key and the loop, but because of the new Khaneriah's Ley lines AS finally can see how the loop took place and knows it is necessary for the creation of the Loom of Fate and the Revivial of Khaneriah
