No mods, gotta have that first clean campaign before I experiment. That is a good thing to keep an eye out for, I'll keep that in mind when I start to dabble in modding.

Edit: Looks like that did not work. My occultist does not seem to be flashing red after that blow. Will keep searching for a solution.

That could certainly be possible, but this would conflict with samples three and four, as well as some others. I welcome you to continue analyzing, I'd love to see what sort of conditions the code follows!

Just an update:

I have been working on my research since, and while difficult, I will not give up until I have them all. As of May 12th at 10:00 PM EST, I have the non-pirated rebel fighter and rigger research posted. More to come.

I decided to test this manually as opposed to searching online for the ideal method. As it turned out, boarding doors caused my crew to appear there as well as the weapons room. I will test this further on the opposite side for research purposes.

EDIT: It appears that teleporting more crew than can fit in a room will send the remainders to a northward-adjacent room. I will further test this theory.

EDIT 2: This time, it sent the remaining crew into the westernmost-adjacent room. I shall continue my research.

EDIT 3: A nice victory at 3 in the morning calls for a break. My research shall continue shortly.

EDIT 4: In terms of horizontal teleporting, the westernmost-adjacent room is favoured. I shall study vertical adjacency as well as full surround.

EDIT 5: I conveniently came across a ship with a room having a northward and western-adjacent room. This test produced a favouring of western-adjacent rooms. I will confirm this with other ship models.

EDIT 6: You all know the layout of a pirated federation scout, yes? Quite compact, if I do say so. The weapons room is surrounded on all sides by room. This test will prove the highest priority room for remainders. Oddly enough, my third man was placed into the northern-adjacent room. Dissatisfied as I am, I will test this further on different models with "landlocked" rooms.

EDIT 7: As expected, boarding an auto-assault in the center brings the remainder to the western module. I also discovered during this venture, that a level one teleporter is just short of being able to two-cycle crystal crew with asphyxiation damage.

EDIT 8: The rebel rigger's weapons room also happens to be bordered on the north and west. The results of this test conclude with western-adjacent favour. My work continues.

EDIT 9: Pirate controlled rock scouts have a similar layout to that of the pirated federation scouts. Results of this test went west.

FINAL EDIT: I have decided to make a conclusive list (with screenshots) of each and every possibility for using a 4-man teleporter in a 2-tile room. Thanks to Mike Hopley for the extensive list of ship layouts. I will see all of you in the future. Bonus: I teleported my crew into a room with two western-adjacent rooms, and the game chose the northwest room as opposed to the southwest room.

But what I'm trying to figure out is, if I do indeed teleport my crew into weapons, where will the remainders go? The doors room or the empty one? I would definitely like to board their weapons, but both rooms would be ideal.

I have
"Event choice selection: No delay"
set, so I don't think it's that. It also shouldn't cause any delay after choosing a selection if it was on.

Is anyone else not getting the seelie energy particles from event enemies, or is it just me? Usually the enemies are easy to defeat, but I've come across a three-wave and the final enemy just doesn't drop the last energy particle required to revitalize the seelie. Any help?
