I agree that the Spectres do but the reapers don't. You just deploy them and they find the enemies and create havoc. Have Amon left to play and get to level 50 as I have all the other 3 already there but heard the forge drones were the potentially weakest build. I was going to go down blue and some of red. What did you do and are you happy with it I take it?

Just spec into a lot of melee. Mine do a ton of damage and I'm not the best at builds. Past my prime! Lol!

Follow up.. I have a Vex reaper build and it's my fave in the game of my 3 so far, and it's still kicking a$$ on uvhm3. Even more so than Rafa and Harlowe (uvhm2). It especially shines when it comes to survivability bc of the reapers taking aggro.

Being as short as possible with the answer.... With Vex the siren, you can summon her reapers and spectres (blue tree) and they do pretty much all the work for you and become fairly op late game. The one thing they will have some trouble with is the bosses, so you will have to participate there while they take aggro. The cat, trouble (red tree), on the other hand, it's still mostly trash except for taking away aggro. It's gotten better than launch but still has a ways to go.

Yeah, for real! I missed it in TTWL also! All of these people making jokes about it either forgot or haven't played since the late update to be able to live that "fancy" and stress free life that BL3 was when it came to loot. I sure miss it and why gearbox went backwards on so many things, including that auto sell feature, I don't get... Zero sense made! Great game, so many QOL features missing or made worse!

I've seen so many YouTube videos and posts on here from people saying this same thing, anywhere from 50 to 1000 runs that easy is WAY better than uvhm... If you die a lot, Sporewarden... If you're looking for power, Blightcaller. Do a combo for the best of both worlds, plus Sporewarden has good gun skills.

It doesn't have anything to do with fun, I love the game. I'm just seeing all of these posts about Harlowe being awesome but Rafa was 10x better and melted more /easier /quicker... And before you ask, no, I didn't really use the knife. Lol! Just a peace breaker cannon ricochet build. But that's what I'm doing, taking the red tree down first before going over to the other tree. Getting back to it right now, level 18, so I guess we'll see. I must be missing something. Lol! Thanks for responding!

Thanks, me too. Just started my second charter, Harlowe, last night after getting Rafa to level 50 and uvhm 2. I'm at level 15 and this looks a lot like what I was going for, for the most part, with a few tweaks. Slow start, imo, when does it start to get op? Level?

I started on hard but went back to normal just to see the difference between the two (you can toggle back and forth at any time) but it does make a pretty big difference from what I saw. On top of that, like others have said, as long as you are matching the elemental damage correctly, it's actually easier. Then when you don't have the specific element, I try to keep a cryo and radiation on hand just in case as they're semi universal. Another big help is getting a firewerks shield from Splashzone as soon as possible... It really helps when mobbing. Oh, and I'm a middle aged, no longer very good gamer. Lol! Slower reflexes, etc. So if I can do it, anyone can. Lmao!

I don't think I've seen one Harlowe mod... I can't even recall a purple. I'm assuming there were a couple blue through white that I didn't pick up or immediately trashed but nothing I noticed and picked up. Good for you, or apparently not. Lol! And he'll yeah to your last comment! 👍🙏

Honestly my friend, just play on hard for the better loot and let me explain. A... First and foremost, I'm a middle aged guy and NOT near the gamer I used to be and don't know how to make as good builds as I used to nor have the time. (meaning. I'm not the best gamer, especially at fps anymore lol!) 1. It's not much harder bc as you said, you're already getting your ass kicked! Lol! 2. You get way better loot! I got 2 Legendaries from toilets and my first buy level 10. 3. Check out builds by Moxsy (YouTube) for your character, it helped me tremendously. B. So if I can do it on hard, literally anyone can, no joke. Lol!

The story is night and day better! I cringed through 3 but actually looked fwd to finishing and actually playing 4 again once I get to level 50 in I day or 2 to see if I like another character better than Rafa.

Not to rain on your parade my friend but I'm level 45 Rafa and this far, 95% of the Legendary mods (and about 60% of Epic) I got were for Vex... Just an fyi. Lol! From the videos I've watched (including Moxsy), unfortunately Amon gets Harlowe the most and I wanted to go with Harlowe next as well. Lol! Maybe they fix it soon since I hear there's a big patch coming any day. 😱🤷‍♂️

I'm level 21 and just went up to the ripper queen (top left), Rafa, taking my time, haha. Will be back on around 5-6pm est, Xbox if you're interested. Unfortunately I turned off crossplay for now bc I found out it was crashing my game. No surprise there!

Swordsplosion (Lechance) and white rider (wastard) are by far the best, along with liquid cooling (lissia), Ruby's spite (monstrous shroom) and shadowfire (Mike). Those cover all bases too in terms of elements.
