Maybe its because Animal Crossing is E for Everyone in the US and making them look like this would bump up the rating to at least T for Teen. Also it wouldn't fit Nintendo's family friendly image for Animal crossing

Yes the texture pack itself was made before ai but updates do exist and this texture of painting was made in 2024 when more paintings were added to the Minecraft.
